I don't know why, but I agree that the bleeped version is much funnier. Perhaps it has something to do with the bleeps leaving what he says to the imagination (although it's not like we don't know what he's saying, especially since the bleeps often don't totally cover the word,) or maybe that it accentuates the sheer volume of profanity.

Bleeps are funny because, I think, they're less common than actual profanity and they do leave it to the imagination, mostly.

Bleeps are always funnier. Just look at South Park, and the sheer number of beeps they have.
