You know what word I love? Ragamuffin.
Caught in the headlamp glare of your own blinding vanity/Mesmerised by the stare of your shallow personality
Gorging the junk food of flattery you drag your fat ego around/Everyone floored by the battering you give to whoever's around
Oh Narcissus you petulant child admiring yourself in the curve of my eyes/Oh Narcissus you angel beguiled unsated by self you do nothing but die

Discombobulated. 'tis a fun word, and surprisingly easy to spell!

I like nebulous.

Speaking of words, someone used the word "networking" in casual conversation a few days ago. I think I almost had an apoplexy.

Just randomly? As in... not in conjunction with a computer or anything? ... Or as in like.. "I was networking with a few of my buddies yesterday and..."..
huh...

I personally really like the words "obfuscate" and "eschew," especially when combined to form the command: "eschew obfuscation" 8)

But, by far, the coolest word in my vocabulary would have to be "tittery-whoppet" :D :D :) :o :P  :D :o :) :D

As in, "I was networking with some of my friends yesterday."
*shudder*
No, keep the sinful word in the office you fools! You will turn relationships as we know them into the casual using of other people for your own benefit, devoid of emotion or care!!
Hearing it said, I just sort of get this cold feeling in my brain, as if I can see through a crack in humanity out into the cold expanse of emptiness that lies beyond.

Actually, that one would be Sonic. Knuckles is an echidna.

THE LOBSTER OF DADAISM

Image

I'm not really sure what my favourite word is... perhaps pusillanimous? Or niggardly? Antediluvian is nice, but so is baroque or Byzantine. Apotheosis has a nice ring to it, but parochial makes a pleasant feeling in the mouth.

It varies from time to time, I suppose.

How about "Colloquial". that's a nice work too.. and it rhymes with parochial. sort of.

Our local Ojibwe have some awesome words:

Minnehaha,

Geebawug,

Weegoobbee,

...and, my favorite...

Ossamawinnamakee. I have a cabin on a lake named that.
This is going in my notebook titled "Things I Didn't Know about Surface Dwellers."

The absolute best word would have to be "defenestrate". Any word that means "to throw out the window" is freaking awesome.

I don't have a single favorite word.
"Shit" probably comes close, though. It's so versatile.
"Everloving shit"
"bat-shit insane"
"4Kids"

the possibilities are endless!
