You mean besides George Jr.?

I remember this thing genuinely scared me when I was a kid.

Not sure it was actually effective in it's anti-drug message...but it freaked me out.

Yeah, the effects of some drugs were already scary enough to begin with, such as burning actual holes in your brain. It didn't need to be illustrated with cartoon characters. Maybe that's why so many kids in our generation took drugs. They wanted to hang out with the cartoon gang.

I think even at the age of like 8 or 10 or something when I watched it I realized it was over the top and unrealistic...so it didn't affect my opinion of drugs (although it should be said I'm pretty anti-drug)...just gave me nightmares about the shriveled up kid from the cartoon.

You know what's odd?

I remember all the cartoons these characters come from (and the show Alf comes from). I remember when each show STARTED (well, except Bugs... but he's damn old). I remember when the shows quit airing new episodes.

I never saw this drug show thing before this thread.

How the hell did that happen?

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder?

Also, Alf had a cartoon as well as the show.

Actually, I'm pretty sure he'd try to smoke them. XD

Reminds me of this ice cream we used to get in Geneva. It came in a blue plastic Smurf head. You had to pop their hat off to scoop out their delicious chilly blue brains. Except that one time when it jerked a bit when it came off and the head went rolling across the restaurant floor. XD

I wonder if I still have any of those heads around.
