Yeah, and I've never half-assed a comic page.

You even speak in drinking-game.

I just mixed Mountain Dew and Jim Beam.

The result is surprisingly drinkable, though I can't really recommend it over the alternatives.

I looked at Google to see if Dew/whiskey had been done before, and it turns out that Mt. Dew was originally intended for mixing with whiskey way back when it was made up in the forties or whenever. INTERESTING

Desperation had me put rum in Mountain Dew. And no, it wasn't nearly as terrible as expected. No substitute of coke, though.

Dr. Pepper and vodka though is nasty.

Yeah, of course, there's vodka in it.

Though mine may have been slightly more tolerable, since American Dr Pepper tastes different to the European one.

Possibly.

Also the party I was at was in want of both rum and coke, and people were making fun of me for having far too much red wine, so I guess I was biased from the start.

I think I could drink High Life like it was water (probably because it is water?).

A friend of mine just showed up at my door with a bottle of Laphroaig Quarter Cask Scotch. It is a gift of thanks for getting him out of a pickle of the "love triangle" sort, or rather "hot tub triangle" sort. I must really have worked my magic, although the night was mostly a drunken blur for me. All I remember is one girl was pissed, and I talked her down, to obviously beneficial effect for my friend. Bless me, and my wonderful charisma, 'cause now I gots good Scotch!

I'm having the alcoholic equivalent of a bad trip right now. I think it was triggered by someone reminding me that I'm worried that, deep down, I'm already an actual Bona Fide alcoholic. This kinda sorta really really sucks.

I want a glass of wine. Good wine. Like the kind where you're at a restaurant and they have a list. Like a real list. 4 or 5 wines total isn't a list, it's an afterthought. I want 4 or 5 per type. I better have my choice of Merlot, Cabernet, and Zinfandel and then have to narrow it down further by winery. Where the choices require the separate sub-menu. That's the kind of place I need to go to and which Lawton, OK does not appear to have. Except maybe the Olive Garden, and that only serves to depress me further.

I had Gin and Juice for the first time the other day. I realize now why people write songs about those sort of drinks. ¡Muy Bueno!

Gin didn't really impress me. On the other hand, the only brand I've had is Bombay Sapphire, and I hear that one's a bit "weird."
