Well evidently it was this or an eventual spot as House Speaker, so if dude's a loose cannon, this might be a more stable position for him to be in. Here's hoping for the best.

First: Obama victory is so freakin' awesome! I spent the night calling across the country to tides of screaming and tears ^__^
Second: I think Rahm got picked because while he's a partisan guy, he knows the inner workings of the White House so Obama doesn't have to spend a year looking for landmines >__>
