is pain still about? I saw them about four years ago. my friends band was opening for them. they were pretty good, use to have an album by them. tight sound.JTigerclaw wrote:If you like Reel Big Fish, check out Less Than Jake, Catch 22, Mustard Plug. Also "Pain" is a great band, and unique too, but they're so small that I doubt you could find them anywhere, but I'll send them to you if you want.(I introduced my friends to Pain and now they are in love with them.)
Oh yeah, and Big D and the Kid's Table

OMG, You know of Pain? Wow, you and your friends know all kinds of cool bands! First with personally knowing Against Me, and now opening for Pain! I'm impressed!phactorri wrote:is pain still about? Sadly, they broke up a while ago. Just couldn't pay the bills, apparently. They were a great, underappreciated band though.
Okay, now that I've gotten them all, did you mean 'To Far Away Times'? Cause if you did...well...Levi-chan wrote:When I say funky japanese, I mean the singer sounds WRONG.rock_dash wrote:Really? I hadn't gotten to that one yet, since I'm on dialupLevi-chan wrote: Aye there. Definitely some rockage - I downloaded the opening track and it was cool. The ending theme however, has some funky Japanese.
Still, I heard that listening to music in foreign languages helps you concentrate. I guess it's since you don't know and/or don't care what they're saying.
:p
I kinda like it >_>;

*takes a bow* well really I blame it more on my best friend who's been in a few semipopular punk rock bands, so I use to be into the scene okay. However these days I pay more attention to dance music.JTigerclaw wrote:OMG, You know of Pain? Wow, you and your friends know all kinds of cool bands! Bunjie Jamboo is another fun not to well heard of Ska band I always liked. kinda crude with the lyrics though.

That's cool. I've never been in a location where a 'scene' ever really existed, but I'm sure I'd be in that one if I could. And maybe I'll look up this Bunjie Jamboo.phactorri wrote:JTigerclaw wrote:phactorri wrote: is pain still about?
