Well, I don't think it's funny at all. I think Fox News is fucking retarded, and needs to go away for reasons like that image. Honestly, why the fuck would Frederick Douglass have debated Lincoln? That doesn't even make sense! And now all of the ignorant assnuts who watch that channel are going to have an even more skewed view of history, thanks to one simple little visual 'gotcha!' Meanwhile, as this spreads across the internet, people around the world will have one more reason to think the U.S. is full of idiots. Thanks, Fox News! Your lack of subtlety and common sense infuriates me.

Mathematically I guess it is POSSIBLE. But it's not REASONABLE.
You're overlooking a very important factor in your calculations:
Bitter irony.
If it is at all possible, they will tie just to screw with us.

I find this amusing, because neither is FoxNews a news outlet, nor is its content reliable unless corroborated by an independent source.
But Fox News is supposed to be a news source. People don't just watch fox news to make fun of Bill-O; They expect to get facts and become informed by something that calls itself news. Even if it's not reliable, it should be reliable enough to get basic facts straight.

In other words, I agree with Buster.
Unfortunately, FoxNews was founded with the intention not to provide facts or information, but to sell the product information in a manner pleasing to Americans stongly right from center. I also don't consider the channel salvageable: I don't thing it should get the basic facts straight, I think it should shut itself down.
I knew Douglas wasn't black, I just thought the joke was that they stuck Obama and Hillary's faces over them (hence black Douglas) using photoshop or whatever. I really did think they pasted Hillary's face on Lincolns there, my mistake.
Sharp Hall. - Ya know... don't even go there. Very NSFW

Didn't you know Freddy Douglass was a strong proponent of popular sovereignty?
Something like this sure is everything you say it is. I also think it's funny though.
In a good debate the moderator doesn't do anything except enforce the rules. The candidates should ask the questions to each other, or in certain formats choose who gets to ask the questions.
One thing that I'm getting fed up with is that many people have allowed the news media to perform too much filtering of campaign information for everyone. Sure, once or twice in the election cycle you will have a nice table neatly outlining each candidate's positions on each topic, but the rest of the time will be filled up with whatever they think is newsworthy. Thus, if a candidate's actions are not newsworthy according to whatever criteria determine that point, that candidate will soon disappear down the memory hole.
What would be better than placing all trust in news organizations who pretend to be unbiased, is to examine what the partisan die-hards are saying on all sides, fact-check them, and make judgments based on whatever information you discover on that course.
A webcomic so scrumptrelescent you can barely move.

Because they know most of viewers won't catch it. It was deliberate on Fox's part and if someone does call them out they'll issue a correction at 3 am. Damage would have already been done.
As far as the Democratic debate I don't have an issue with both candidates going all the way to the convention. However, there has been a bias toward Obama and against Clinton and that is what is infuriating many Clinton supporters. The media and the party itself has treated her pretty shabby.
America is still a very racist country and Obama doesn't stand a chance. Hilary doesn't stand a chance because she's a woman. And McCain doesn't stand a chance because he's a warmonger. Sounds like we only have one logical choice. Kolter for Pres!
