Old version? I'm pretty sure I'm running 7.10 here. Though, I do remember the running mouse splash!phact0rri wrote:awwe you have the old version of xubuntu with the running mouse splash! Yeah, I remember the solid eyes. They looked less out-of-place, I think. On the other hand, the shiny eyes aren't eww enough to ruin them for me either.ryclaude wrote:i can't stand those new desktops he's been doing with the shiney eyes, they look really ew to me. liked his big black pupils better. the eyes just keep getting weirder.
Is KDE 4 out for mainstream distros yet? I'm curious. I haven't tried KDE in years.phact0rri wrote:I fell in love with KDE recently ^_^

Yeah, they scream "animu", whereas his old style was just pleasantly anime-influenced. I still like his work, though; I mean, you still know right away that it was done by "that Scott Pilgrim guy".jesusabdullah wrote:Yeah, I remember the solid eyes. I can understand. I had some bad run ins with KDE a couple years ago. Its still kinda flaky in vanilla. But my current set up is running nice, just had to poke around a bit. but it wasn't as tough as getting my laptop's software based hardware drivers to work. That was a nightmare ^_^jesusabdullah wrote:Is KDE 4 out for mainstream distros yet? I'm curious. I haven't tried KDE in years.phact0rri wrote:I fell in love with KDE recently ^_^
