After watching that trailer, my brain vomited and evacuated my skull.

Okay, I admit it. The inner five year old in me REALLY WANTS that flying dragony horse thing.

I uh... watch that anime. It's interesting, but i have mixed feelings about it. Somehow, William Shakespeare is one of the main characters in the story, portrayed as a whiny-pitched writer with no audiences.

My vote... will probably have to go to did the Mutant Ninja Turtles anime. I tried watching it. I couldn't. I simply couldn't.
It doesn't look too horrible to me. I like sword fights and strong female leads. I find it pretty hilarious though that in this version Juliet is Tuxedo Mask.

Shrek 3.

Well actually it's just the worst animated movie I've watched recently...but that doesn't negate it's general stinkiness.
Okay, seeing as CGI stuff is up for mention as well as purely animated films, how about "Barnyard"?

Male cows DO NOT HAVE UDDERS. 'Nuff said.

Actually, its a little known fact that male cows actually have multiple penii, known as claspers. People often mistakenly associate this term with sharks, however the market for shark milk is very small.

Worst? Sooo many. I mean pretty much 90% of the stuff that is released. (Shark Tale, oh God I want to be sick...)

But the best by far is Kappa Mikey :

http://youtube.com/watch?v=RmeHSLe_whA

Story is an American kid called Mikey Simon (Drawn in "old skool American Saturday Morning" style) wins a competition and gets to go to Japan to star in an anime series. He's a huge hit, and he stays on the crew. Basically its one long anime parody. But personally I think its brilliant.

I'd watch it. But then... (a) I have a pretty high tolerance for crap in entertainment (not that I'm calling this crap, I'm just saying: "I'd watch it" isn't a real stretch for me) (b) the animation looks pretty good and I've seen other good animation from GONZO, and (c) repackaging or borrowing from Shakespeare doesn't bother me that much: I've already seen Hamlet on the African Savannah, Othello set on a preppy high school basketball team, and The Tempest set on Mars with a robot. Not to mention the version of the Tempest where Ariel was played by a dog and various Shakespeare inspired episodes of Star Trek. Fantasy anime version's not gonna bother me any more than all that.

What does bother me a bit is using William Shakespeare's name so prominently and having the title be almost "Romeo and Juliet." That's sort of misleading. (Or at least potentially confusing when you're ordering a DVD from the inter-library exchange network.)

Really with the seals 'though it was the clichéd jokes, character designs and voices that got to me.

Ha ha! Sorry, I didn't mean to infer that the R&J anime should be included in this list. It's just an amusing and somewhat bewildering alternative. To be honest, I'd give it ago even though I usually hate Romeo and Juliette....though it's true- Juliette DOES look like Tuxedo Mask.

Gawd, that have been so many bad animated movies, and yet I have trouble thinking of them. Perhaps I actively blocked them out. There's always the Disney sequels, though. I mean, how can Hunchback of Notre Dam even HAVE a sequel???

The Timone and Pumba midquel wasn't so bad, though.

ohhh yeah. I think I'll have to go with the Disney sequels on pure principle. I mean, the animation in them actually tends to be quite good, but they have NO SOUL. D:

This preview is everything wrong with feature animation. EVER.
XD WTF

Got, there's so many candidates for the worst animation. Being that animation is very needy in resources, anyone who tries to copy big bidget films with small budget, fails horribly. You can see such dreadful cartoons on saturday morning television, where each movement of any character is as convincing as Julia Roberts' acting.
But I always held "Disney's" Hercules for the symbol of everything that's bad in animated films for me.

Edit: I wonder what two Chinese symbols they used for spelling "William Shakespeare".

I didn't watch Barnyard, but I wanted to throw my drink at the screen after only the minute long preview.

I don't get why everyone hates Disney's Hercules so much.

But I'm sure you're all going to tell me.

I know Disney takes liberties with the source material, but dear God did they butcher that one.

Well, the original Heracles story isn't exactly family-friendly, now is it?

Name one mythological legend that's family friendly (by modern, western standards) in the original version.

One of my all-time least favorites is the Rankin-Bass adaptation of The Return of the King. What makes it doubly sad is that their adaptation of The Hobbit was actually pretty good. (Surprisingly faithful to the original, considering the thing ends with a massive gorey battle..)
"gooey-duck". A clam. Not a snail.
