Did you know, the US has no official language; Yes, english is the language of choice and the one taught in schools, but there is no federal law or mandate that makes it our official standard.

(my father is Mexican, mother is Chilean) This confounds me to no end! I can read everything your saying but I can't respond!!

I think Ryan was playing along, too.

While Mexico's official language is spanish, the fact that we, unlike the americans, did not try to wipe out the "local" natives, means Mexico has huge enclaves of people who speak solely nahuatl and/or other native-american languages (though, in an effort to keep these populations ignorant and thus easily controlled, our last government always refused to issue things like school books and official documents in those languages).

Oh, and yeah, Cortland and Toxic need to brush up on their spanish. However, I won't be a willing participant of the (further) corruption of youngsters' minds in these forums, so go find spanish swear words somewhere else! I recommend seeking out an spaniard, as their way of speaking is far more peppered with "four-letter" words than ours, simply because they have been longer at it.

And I understood that yes, England's more at odds (historically) with Spain than with France, specially since that whole "Catholic Armada" shebang...

I took it for 3 years in highschool, but that'was ages ago. It slips away fairly quickly. Though I like watching movies where some people are insulting each other in spanish. I'm the only on in the theatre laughing :D

"Vay" has no meaning in spanish. "Vaya" comes from the verb "ir", which means "go", and is short for "you go", in the formal speech. Confused?

Coloquial (every day): You go = T
