Irresistable force = The cheesecake in the kitchen right now.
Unmovable object = Me, three rooms away.
We wants the cheesecake, my precious. We WANTS IT!!
...but I'm lazy, and immovable, because now, I'm just being stubborn for principle and not going to get it.
Plus, right now, I'm a big guy. More like Juggernaut.
If I get the cheesecake, I might start to look like Blob.

Actually, the definition of the Juggernaut's power is that once he starts moving in a given direction, no force on earth can stop him. I saw a long extended version of the Juggernaught vs Blob debate and the general consensus was that Juggernaught wins.
And remember:
"But you're a mutant too!"
"I'm not a mutant! My powers are MAGICAL! And they're more than any of you X-Freaks can handle!"
Man, the animated series rocked.

Maybe I should poke it with something.

Irresistable force.
Why? Cause even if the Immovable Object isn't drawn to the force, everything else will be. Then the Irrisistable force can break it down with a huge party, while the Immovable Object is left out by itself... alone. In the rain...
No, actually the rain is bumpin' at the party too.
The obvious loser is the Immovable Object.

The way I always thought of it was like this: We're told that For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. So, when the irresistable force starts tugging/pushing on the immovable object, the immovable object tugs/pushes back. Unless the irresistable force is emanating from another immovable object (remember every force has to originate from SOMETHING), it will be pulled toward the immovable object by an equal (thus irresistable) force.
Winner: Immovable object.
...especially when that bumpin' party gets pulled his way and all the fly honeys are dancing around him.
