A correction re:homosexual sex being illegal in TX. It was, but the supreme court struck it down about a year ago. Basically, they said that the government has no business telling consenting adults what to do unless it has some overwhelming interest in it. This allows them to regulate things like incest (where the arguement is based on questionable statistics, but that's another topic), or bestiality (is this cruelty to animals if the animal likes it?), but unless they can prove that gay sex harms society, they can't interfere.

Yay, Supreme Court (this time). Funny how the conservatives howl about the Government interfering in people's lives unless it's to get rid of something they don't like.
