I have had this and you are right. It is delicious.snail wrote:They put a really sweet batter around *hard* frozen ice cream and and dip it in really hot oil for a few seconds so the batter cooks but the ice cream is still cool.
It's quite yummy.

I like the feel of night in a village with the different sounds and clear skies and air.
I like the feel of a cow's tongue over my palm...Its a really nice feeling as long as the cow doesnt want to eat your hand
I like the feeling of last day of exam
I like the feeling of being in deeeep trouble and then wake up and realise its just a dream
I like to sleep till late and wake up with a lazy feeling
I like snuggling

You can get this at most Mexican Reastaurants. It's like the greatest thing ever.Sortelli wrote:I have had this and you are right. Means something quite different in England. A kebab is the traditional night of "I've been drunk all night and am going home". And its doner, not shish, IE its in pita bread not on a stick.rkolter wrote:Finding a kebab shop. In existance. Anywhere.Rickford wrote:-Finding a kebab shop open at 5am.
Food on a stick = awesome.
Damn filling.

But it's much better in Germany. They have way better veggies and feta cheese and stuff. All the kebab shops I went to in england were okay, but not as good.

Psh. Disagree here. Burritos are greasy, packed full of flavor, and fill you up SOOOO nicely. I'll be honest, anything shoved in a pita is mighty tasty...but burritos are what you need at 2AM when last call hits.

It's Turkish, so if you can find a turkish restaurant, you should find some version of it.
There's a place in Anchorage where they have it, but they don't put it in the pita-like bread, so you have to eat it off a plate with a fork. It's not like late-night kebab shops you find in Germany, where there's lots of turkish immigrants.
But it's still pretty good, even off a plate, so get thee to a turkish restaurant!

Agreed to all, but cow tongue? Yuck! Cows have horrible breath that sticks to you. But I do agree that their tongues feel cool. Like a cat's.CorpAmis wrote:I like the feel of night in a village with the different sounds and clear skies and air.
