Just how do you give someone PMS? I'm pretty sure that its not really something you can give, and its certainly nothing I'd want for christmas...

Only way I can think of giving someone PMS is black pudding style... *shudder* you see now you made me think, what have you done?

I'm scared to even try to now. My campus doesn't just not allow you to download it, they pull your connection if they see you download basically anything. It's like living in a police state...

Was a fun game despite the bugs and flaws.
In case any one is scared, the game is quite stable now and I haven't had any problems recently(several months).

Most games have bugs when they first come out. Now, most tweaking seems to be along the lines of updating classes and items. Even then, they have an online Tech Support forum if anyone experiences any problems.
This is going in my notebook titled "Things I Didn't Know about Surface Dwellers."

I didn't mean to scare anyone. Just that hearing about AO brought up a lot of memories, both good and bad. :)

Though it is impossible for hardware to be damaged by a game. There are only a few ways to damage hardware with software, and to get the motherboard you'd have to program it explicitly for that purpose.

This does look like fun. I have a few buddies that play WoW but I'm too cheap to pay a monthly fee. Kalonline is like the poor man's WoW.

Grrr... Yet another game to play. The download was huge but I ate a sammich while I waited. *hugs cable internet* Assuming I get my comp to play nice with it I might be on later. (why do I even bother torturing myself with these... I know I'm going to feel nothing but pain as my integrated graphics chugs along like a snail)

If you really want to join in, I'd be more than willing to burn the files to CDs and send them to you. The postage wouldn't be an issue. ;)
Dude, that would be so awesome of you, I would have to do something to . . . er, for you at the next cookout.

I should PM you my address then? :D

Sigh. I hate having to defend everything I say. :(

The game corrupted Windows, and likely that, not the game itself, damaged my board. I'm not an expert, all I know is what a passel of diagnostic software told me. That old PC is in my closet, if you want to inspect it yourself. :)

Back to the topic, I'm sure the game is better built these days. I'm interested whether they're still using ASCII graphics for part of the UID, though. Don't know how that slipped through beta. :) I've heard a lot of people say the game is still lots of fun, and it's certainly unique among the other MMOGs.

Give me back the towel you took at the last cookout and we'll call it even. ;)

I just downloaded the files - it should easily fit on two CDs. Go ahead and PM me your address.

Oh, and DarkMagician and MixedMyth? That offer goes for both of you, too. I have a stack of blank CDs that's been collecting dust, so I have no qualms about sending out more than one copy.
