Oh.
But no, actually you can use it for a ton of things. Holding doors open/shut, if you have two or three, you can make a ladder anywhere, or as a rope tie, or various other useful things. Basicly, an Immovable rod is a rod that can be set somewhere and then once set, even in mid-air, it CANNOT be moved by any force. It's a simple idea, but has many cool uses.

Actually, according to 3.5 rules anyway, wouldn't it be a waste for a cleric to actually prepare a cure spell at all? I mean it's in the rules that they're allowed to burn any prepared spell and cast a 'cure wounds' spell of the same level. So you shouldn't really prepare them at all. You just have them straight up. (And if you're an Evil Cleric, you get 'cause wounds' instead.)Jim North wrote: Try to choose a healthy balance of curative, defensive, and offensive spells for each day. I know it's awfully tempting to just slam each spell level full of Cure Whatever Wounds, especially when you've got a perfectly good Wizard in the party for all those other spells, but you never know when you and that perfectly good Wizard are going to part ways, accidentally or intentionally, temporarily or permanently.
