I can get magic eye things to partially work. Generally vague shapes start popping out, then I get excited and focus my eyes, lose the image, and give up.

the easy way to do magic eyes is to cross your eyes. the image will "pop" in reverse, i.e., if it's supposed to be going into the page it will seem to be coming out of it instead, but you'll see it.

I have a fascination for animal print. Specifically leopard and cheetah. My bed is all done up in leopard and cheetah print. I also have a matching rug and 2 pairs of matching socks. I also like zebra print, though I prefer to call it 'white tiger' print because it sounds cooler. When people find out they give me odd looks.

whu-- that's how I've been doing magic eyes.
...maybe this is why I can see them but not make sense of them.

Speaking of plugs, I'm thinking of upping my 6 gauges to 4 as well.

I managed to find a copy of Portal for $10 and I'm fairly excited to play it.

I am confused as to whether or not you think that $10 for Portal is a really good deal, since $10 is the price it's always been if bought separately from the Orange Box.

That said, it is a really good deal, as it is a more amazing, satisfying, and fun game in three hours for ten dollars than any eighty hours for sixty dollars game out there.

EDIT: Oh, right, a rambo fact about myself . . . I carry a folding knife and a flashlight on my belt everywhere I go. Even into federal buildings! I'm such a rebel.

i thought $10 was a good price, i've seen it for more.

plus it wa $10 canadian, which means less american. though after tax i'm sure it's pretty close.
