When this comes out on dvd, it should be packed with Dragonball and Avatar. It'll be called the Ultracrap 3-Pack.

Live action Cowboy Bebop, not so bad. Live action Cowboy Bebop with Keanu Reeves, eh not looking so good. I wonder how they'll do Ed, or if they'll even have Ed.

The actual animated movie wasn't that good, no reason this has to break my heart or anything.

Wouldn't mind Spike and Faye getting familiar, I always thought they always wanted to but didn't know how.

It has a lots of fans tho. I think it has something to do with music not being J-pop or something.

I must admit that I am kind of pissed off at the extent to which Keanu is typecasted into these roles. Like, some would figure after Constantin that Keanu + neo-noirish cartoon character = bad ides, but it seems like Matrix fame is still strong. It seems like guy doesn't even care about his career anymore, he'll take anything that is payed well as long as he can go and play with his band while money from the film lasts.

I've always enjoyed Keanu in all his films.
In Parenthood he was wonderful as Tod (despite being his spacey slacker self), Bill and Ted is well Bill and Ted. Point Break was a decent flick I can't remember that much about it outside of them surfing together and the president heist. Dracula was a good one for him to do, though I watched more for Hopkins and Gary Oldman...blah blah blah.

He has the potential to do a good job.

Holy shit at name-dropping Little Buddha.

It's funny considering how enmeshed into nerd culture Keanu is he sure doesn't get much respect.

Also feel Jolie is too old to be Faye.

I avoid Keanu Reeves like the plague because I think all of his characters are criminally uninteresting.

The one exception is Johnny Mnemonic, which I saw on 'Horrible Keanu Reeves Movie Night.' The reason it's an exception is that the scene that was supposed to make Johnny sympathetic made me hate him with an irrational fiery passion, and at that point it's dishonest to call the character plain uninteresting.

I think the "not worth having" line has already been crossed.

You can't spell "Cowboy Bebop" without Warner Brothers.
