So excited - and I just can't hide it!
Well I'm drawing the first pages of my new comic at the moment (almost done 6 pages, that's alot for five days with a new RPG PC game at the same time at home ^^) and I'm feeling just like four years ago again. Like a total newbie, a beginner, someone who's doing the first steps again ...

I'm sure I'm not the only one (hopefully)!

2 years ago when I ended junkRIOT and started Avernyght. I went from a well established slice of life comic to a strange fantasy world after afew years of working on jR. I had to go back to square one with design and layout. I had to choose new fonts and I had to go through the whole "Is anyone going to like it? Am I crazy for doing this?" Though I still think that on a regular basis :/

When I started my new comic six months ago, I'd forgotten everything about the workings of CG and set up a new account 'cause I forgot how to work my old one. It had been two years since my first brief comic experiment, but it was still rather embarrassing.

No see what you SHOULD say if you're being all self critical is "NO. EVERYONE'S GONNA HATE IT. I'm such a masochist ;_;"Cope wrote:ahahahaha... I hear that.Mvmarcz wrote:"Is anyone going to like it? Am I crazy for doing this?"

Played my first game of D&D ever today. Since it was a one off adventure, the DM opened the game up by telling everyone "Okay, roll up a level 12 character, you've got 13,000 gold to spend. Go." So it was a pretty badass little adventure and I ABSOLUTELY FRICKING LOVE PLAYING D&D!!!

It's been a very long time for me, but I'm hoping that all changes when I go back to school in September.

I wish you played in my group; all of my new players are either 1.unwilling but dragged along by one of my other players or 2.jerkish rules lawyers.Laemkral wrote:Played my first game of D&D ever today. Congrats on your first game. I tend to feel new whenever I end up playing since I GM way more than I get to play.Laemkral wrote:Played my first game of D&D ever today. The worst part is I keep recruiting all my confidants so I have no one to talk to about the game who won't be getting spoilers.Dreamaniaccomic wrote:Dungeon Mastering can be a lonely, grueling job...

I wish I could start new PnP games with your enthusiasm, Laemkral
try to keep this feeling, it won't last for eternity - sadly some time you'll start to see the faults of the game master, you'll start to criticize the playing style of the others and so on *grin* the normal way for pnp players ^^
By the way, McDuffies ...did you got laid?

No, but she assured me I would as soon as her headache stops. So I consider it as well as done.
