Yah, that would be the Nightmare Fuel thread I started just a little while back.

Denial is not falsification. You can't avoid a fact just because you don't like it.

Dogs
Boys
People
Doorknobs
Faucets
My reflection in mirrors and dark windows
Anything with a reflective surface except spoons (which were strangely compelling)
Anything that moved independent of me

I'm a bit autistic.

Also getting stuck in tunnels and tight places. I think it's a Winnie the Pooh-based trauma.

Wow.

A whole generation of people here have a fear of moths because of some horror movie shows on tv back when they were kids. Moths are connected to vampires in our mythology.

On the other hand...that might make it easier to take care of vampires. All you need is one of those bug zapping outdoor lights.

It's okay, though, I once knew someone who was afraid of butterflies.

you can't suggest something like a vampire bug zapper and not doodle it.

I'm afraid of the mirrors themselves, myself.

I'm afraid of mirrors too. As well as windows at night, It's not so bad during the day but I still keep all my blinds and curtains closed at all times.

It's not that simple. First you have to kill the vampire with a stake, then a moth flies out of his wound, and you have to catch this moth, otherwise it spreads vampirism further.
And since people are usually going to graveyard to kill vampires during the day and not night... moth has a chance to spread some vampirism before bug zappers get effective.
All of that forms part of the plot of the said movie.

I have something specific that scared me: that wolf in "Neverending Story." When it came on the screen I would jump behind the couch and have my dad tell me when he was dead. :shifty:
