If anyone wants to add a page to the jam, please go ahead and do so. If it messes up the continuity or looks like crap, who cares? People will ignore it. Claude might even put a big NO over it, which is kind of like an honour, I guess.

Yes the point is to have fun, but some people just like to read the jams without participating. They would like it to be some what coherent. There are also those who want their work to be well done regardless of what type of work it is. They would also like it to be some what coherent. Similarly, there are people who want to have a fun creating a good story, playing off their fellow artists to make something they can look back on and smile. A lot like an actor improving, no one likes to watch, or work with, that guy who just does stupid shit because it's funny to him.
This is why so many jams wind up sucking hardcore or ending in a flame war. So yes, make it fun but treat it like you would any other collab type comic and try to make it fun for every one else.
