Mmm. Hand drawing homework. That's always fun.

Some doodles from Thanksgiving break:

Was thinking about how in many comics, women with accents kick all sorts of ass. Kinda sloppy but supposed to be Alexi from my own comic, XI from Oops, Nevermind, and Grey from Atavism.

Character concepts for a short comic I may have gotten myself roped into.

Also from said short comic.

Haven't drawn with my tablet in a while, so I did some practice type thing but realized the pose was sooo boring and cut it off and did coloring practice.

Senshi, the improvement in your art over the last year is just... dayum!
Thank you, Lei. I worked long and hard on it, along with the rest of the image for about 2 1/2 days, on and off and constantly tweaking lil details in it (Thanks, Zwuh!) . Drawing at 300% is a pain though, so I had to take breaks. I'm really not to zooming in that much at all.
I dunno something about your style I really like. Might have to slide you some monies for a Christmas picture of me, if you'll put a lot of effort into it.

ARTISTIC IMPROVEMENT WITH HIDDEN AGENDAS ftw!

Gorging the junk food of flattery you drag your fat ego around/Everyone floored by the battering you give to whoever's around
Oh Narcissus you petulant child admiring yourself in the curve of my eyes/Oh Narcissus you angel beguiled unsated by self you do nothing but die

A page of something I just knocked out on commission. It's a bit silly, but I followed instructions to the letter. Maybe with my work done, I can get back to drawing for funzies :)

I know the problems with anatomy are apparent, but my concerns are with the character's mud. Capybara's cover themselves in mud to help their skin condition. But my worry is that mud will look like the character is caked in crap.

Does it look like mud or crap?

If the latter, I will nix it from the character design.

Is there a better way to make it look like mud in a black and white comic?

why would he have mud on his clothes if it's for a skin condition?

also, I <3 Capybaras.

I never really thought a person who liked mud would try to keep clean about it.

Couple things I've been working on.

The yellow ended up funky when I adjusted levels in photoshop. It doesn't look so canary on paper.
