Their parents are negligent assholes, that's why their kids are assholes too.

I almost joined Second Life, but decided I should do other things with my time. It does look pretty awesome though.

Looks can be deceiving.

Actually, I'm one of the few Second Life supporters, but I know there's a lot wrong with it...you just have to be very patient and hang out with the right people. Easier said than done.

Apparently SL has become the breeding ground for creepy fetishists and furries now. So yeah.

I don't know if I've posted in this thread already, but I've rediscovered the awesomeness of Dragon Warrior for the NES. I'm also playing Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past on SNES.

Morgan Webb on G4 just told me that the average user on Second Life spends 12 minutes a month there. That doesn't surprise me, given the horribly boring experience I've there.

In other news! I'm taking a break from Oblivion for some reason, and I finally got Unreal Tournament 2004 to run properly on my computer. It only took me three years! In my defense, I haven't had much computer/internet access for the last three years. So, anyway, I'm playing that, just in time for UTIII!

An eldery ex-christian preacher who works at the store asked me about Second Life the other day. Man was that awkward.

Oblivion was fun for quite some time...I played a dark elf vampire who eventually became the Grey Fox and the leader of the Dark Brotherhood (which doesn't make sense to me--aren't they enemies?) Beating those Oblivion gates was too easy, because all you had to do was run straight through them and take a couple hits, then grab the stone. Forget about fighting anything.

...Then I actually decided to play the main quest and all I got was some lousy armor that was worse than what I was wearing. ....Meh, but it was cool to hear Sean Bean's voice again. What's that, Boromir? You want me to go to Bravil and talk to that weird lizard guy? Sure thing!

Nah, it's the Morag Tong of Morrowind that are the enemy of the Dark Brotherhood. The only enemy the Thieves Guild has is Heironymus Lex, because he's the ONLY incorrupt guard in the game.

Yeah, the main quest was weak, but I don't geek out over it for the main quest. I do it for the RPability... and, heck, the DB questline is just too fun not to do over and over.

Yeah, the whole currency thing is weird and don't want to have another life since I'm trying to handle my actual one. But it was rather impressive to see how expansive it is in its weirdness.

I remember hearing somewhere that John McCain has an account there.

I had to get SL for class. Last friday all we did in my computer imaging class was build stuff. I made an evil snowman.
I'm glad 90's style forum signatures don't exist anymore.

I've been getting back into Guild Wars lately. I blame all of you, and your talk of MMOs. Bad forums. Bad.
