I OWNED THAT LION KING GAME!!!!

Graaaah! And it was for the Amiga! I got it for my birthday one year, and was so excited. I ran downstairs to pop it in, it was great....for the first few minutes. Until it crashed. Over and over and over again.

I need to start a manhunt for those game designers, but I suspect they're already in hiding.

It was developed by Westwood Studios for Virgin Interactive, and a 'Seth Mendelson' is listed as designer. Happy Hunting.

I remember most of these.

I actually have a :C cuecat from delta.com on my desk of interesting things.

They forgot to mention that it would conflict with your mouse.

I never knew that the iomega Zip Drive was bad. I really liked the zip drive, and was disappointed that no one else had one which led to me to stop using it.
Now, as for Realplayer... Shame on you BBC for forcing me to use it.

I'd lay money on my Dad still having his in his office somewhere.

Luckily, the thing never worked properly on his Packard Hell.

see that's just inefficient, that thing could have held at least 3 corpses.

Haw, Web TV. I still can't believe anyone thought that was a good idea.

Well, that just went without saying, one would think.

you know i've had bad experiences when i've owned:

1. America Online - still have the same AIM address, too. Hell, i was one of the first to get DSL in my neighborhood thanks to AOL, and it was HELL.

2. Real Player - I only liked it because it streamed South Park clips. How the hell do i remember that...

6. Disney The Lion King CD-ROM - or at least i think i had it....

8. Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 - durrrr

15. Iomega Zip Drive - i have one in my office, actually.

16. Comet Systems Comet Cursor - i had to uninstall this from my school computers back in middle school when all of the kids thought this was "cool"

20. DigitalConvergence CueCat - still have it. stupid thing.
You know, i should work on this.

AOL introduced the internet to the masses. Too bad about the crap interface and shadey busniess practices. My mom had a hell of a time cancelling our old account a few years back.

yes, once they have you, they never let go. You basically have to cancel the credit card you're paying with.

Maybe they should have included Prodigy and the old Compuserve with AOL. All early internet dial-up services were a big pain. Slow and spotty connections. Compuserve was especially annoying to me since your account number and email address was a random number string. (I was a beta tester for Apple's eWorld. I remember watching the night it shut down.)
