You might have to look around for it, but you can buy mechanical pencil lead in different colors, blue and red. I don't think if it's truly non-photo blue, but it won't show up much at all in initial scans and you can easily filter it out in Photoshop. A note, though, it's very much like a colored pencil, it's almost impossible to erase so just draw really lightly with it.

Prosmacolor still makes a non-photo blue pencil I believe. They have them in most art stores I've been too. (<strike>Sanford</strike>* is a cheeper, but harder to find/possibly discontinued alternative) I used to use them for my comic but they tended to muck up my pens when I tried to ink over them. They're great if your just doing pencil drawings though.

*Edit: Not Sanford, I meant Staedtler. They are an especially nice non-photo blue pencil

see, I just use a 4 or 5 H pencil on newsprint. That way people who look over my shoulder will loudly proclaim that I've not drawn anything and then leave in disgust because they can't watch me draw over my shoulder.

Did you expect them to deliver 1/2 a pizza? "Yes, hello? I'd like to do a half and half pizza. Yes, half pepperoni. And half empty box."

It was more the fact that this was a large pizza when the most people bring to club to snack on is Arby's.

I prefer to torment the other people in anime club by showing up with delicious, fragrant teriyaki chicken take-out

I know they amuse no one else the way it amuses me - perhaps no one else CAN be as amused by them as I am - but space jellyfish are a damn good thing to sketch when you don't know what to sketch. Like supercalifragilisticexpialidocious (no I'm not going to check spelling on that), only less complicated. And with the possibility of epic space wars between man and space-sea creatures.

Hmm

"Create your kids at work day" does sound better though, especially in an environment like that.

I use the mechanical ones. I <3 them but GAWD the lead is fragile.
