Last Night I got an email...

Post by Kris X »

Kris,
I have a little bad news to share with you. I have found two lumps in the crook of my right arm. I had the doctor check them last week and he felt that they needed further assessment so I had an ultra sound today. If the radiologist can tell anything, I will hear later this week. If not, then I will need a biopsy. Of course, the concern is that they are cancer. Please pray and ask your friends to pray too on Wednesday night that they are just some silly old cysts or something. I will let you know what I find out later this week. It is scary but I'm sure it will be OK. I hope so anyway.

I wasn't going to say anything about the lumps so you wouldn't worry, but I reconsidered after I had the ultra sound. I need all the prayers I can get.
Talk to you later. Much love!!! Mom
Now, I don't pray and I don't have a religion to release this nauseating fact, but I need a favor from this forum. Whether you pray or keep people in your thoughts, or whatever it is you do to hope... Please add my mother in it.

This woman is a great woman. She's a school principal and gives the kids a good role model. She supports me and is a fan of my comic, which some parents wouldn't even consider.

She's had heart problems before, her husband walked out on her this Feburary, and her own father has been through many troubles over her life.

She shouldn't have to deal with cancer now. Keep her in your thoughts, thank you.

My mom had cancer a couple of years ago, and it was damn scary. You have my full sympathy and best hopes.

Oh man.... :( Here's wishing your mom the best, and that it's all just benign. That's happened in my family before.

She is in my thoughts *hugs* I'm sure it will just be a cyst, those bastards are very common.

My Mum had a breast cancer scare, and she didn't tell anyone . I feel awful that she went through that alone :(
