anyone else notice something like this, or weirder?
you think that's wierd? you obviously do not have any sororities on campus. occassionally I'll see some girls pledging that have to wear the same outfit, down to the hairdo, walking in sync. soo creepy... like a cult.

I wear headphones when going on long walks both for the music and for the plausable deniability. I can see two people argueing and pretend to just be really into my music and walk right past them.
I do that. sunglasses help as well.

You forget to mention that of the people who wear the headphones, probably most of them are the white earbuds for their iPods.

I like the people who go outside in skirts/shorts and short sleeves, then complain when they're cold in 50 degree weather :P.

Aw, I'm one of those hoodie-and-headphones people. But then, it's still a bit chilly up here - the sun's warm but the wind is still sort of cold. So hoodies and my trenchcoat are a good idea now and then.
And headphones keep my ears warm. Plus I've always got them set to a volume where I can hear both my music and enough outside noise to know if there's a car coming up behind me.

Foo on miniskirts. Can't run or climb a tree in skirts, though they're fun to wear now and then. In hot weather I tend to wear less, not to show off, but because I can't take too much heat. People can look if they like, I'm not going to bitch about it so long as they're not insufferably rude (hell I stare enough at scantily clad men/women!). But I wear shorts to avoid sweating like a pig every time I move. :D

Wow I ramble..

Weird, you want to see weird? Just take a look a what I wear. I clash Hawaiian shirts with "Cat in the Hat" style hats and colorful surf shorts. Sometimes I where shorts when it's 50 out, but I don't complain about being cold. Also, great assessments of those certain females who dress for those reasons, Sparrow and PMB.

One of the weird things I notice is a lot of people not having any logical since.

I walked into the house one day and found my mom wearing a hoodie. Startled the hell out of me. She's been hanging out with 20-somethings a lot lately, 'cause she went back to college to become a chef, so I shouldn't be surprised.

My dad's got an ipod shuffle now (I bought it for him for Christmas)...

When I was 13-19, spiking your hair, wearing a black leather jacket, and listening to Judas Priest or Ratt was cool.

Although, somehow I managed to make it not cool when I did it. :-?
When you were a teenager? Well then you must still be one cause that's still awesome! Judas Priest rocks and you can never go wrong with black leather.

As for hoodies, I'm wearing mine right now, 'cause it's warm and comfy and I like hoodies. I only really have the one 'cause that's all I need. I wear it so much that I have a friend who *claims* that he once thought I had some sort of skin condition where it was stuck to me and I couldn't take it off.

Besides, it is hard to objectify me in my awesomely baggy hoodie and comfortable, loose jeans. Also I wear a baseball hat or a beanie a lot.

I'm concerned with girls with head-bumps. You know, the poof at the front. It looks like they're trying to hide a tumour.

Thank you Vort. Thank you so much for this. I think reading this will totally make Zwuh burn his shirts for good.

I will learn him that the fashion rule of thumb with Hawaiian shirts is that you don't wear them unless you're a) Hawaiian or b) in Hawaii.

Last time I went out I began to suspect that 1 in 10 people I passed was an alien.

I can't be sure...I won't know until I preform the lobotomy on the one I caputured and am holding in my basement.

I still own one or two Hawaiian shirts. I kept finding them in the Salvation Army and stuff for like five bucks each... so of course I had to own them.
I had a couple yellow shirts that buttoned up the front.. as well as halfway up the back. Odd, and so they too made their way into my wardrobe. I think I still have one of the yellow ones.

pre-faded jeans are all the rage. i dont wanna look like a lazy, pampered, spoiled brat, but a hardworking, thrifty citizen via white, even, unrealistic stripes that run down my pant legs!

Definitely does not qualify as an exception.
