Introducing my nemesis

Post by Christwriter »

For the past month, I've been itchy, red eyed and had a nose that runs so much it should try out for a triathalon.

I. HATE. ALLERGIES.

Yeah, get some allergy meds. I've been getting allergy shots in the arm every week or so for a couple years to stave it off.

It's especially annoying because of the huge number of people who have the sniffles this time of year (me included) come to class, and sit there snorting and sniffling as loud as possible.

Damn! Your nose can swim and bike too??? That must be a hell of a reaction.

Maybe you could wear a bandana over your nose, bandit-style. It might not help but it would be awesome anyway.

I had dust/mold allergies when I was younger and still get a bit of hay fever in the summer, but my allergies have faded since I changed my diet. Seriously, get more fish oils in your diet. You can get the stuff in cheap and convenient pill form, and the various omega oils make a significant difference.

There's still snow on the ground here...but once it melts I'm sure I'm in for some hayfever.

I have the perpetual sniffles, but haven't been hit hard with allergies this season yet.

btw, if we are endorsing medicines, I personally endorse flonase. once you get used to nasal sprays it is the best thing ever.

well, there are two types of hay feaver (at least where I used to live in Northcentral Montana): there's the spring hay feaver that happens when stuff starts blooming and the pollen counts are high, then there is the fall hay feaver that happens when wheat, barley, canola, and other crops start to get harvested and pollen counts are really high

I'm allergic to the outside, generally. Also dairy and eggs. For about a year I even had horrible reactions to sunlight. THE WORLD HURTS, OKAY. THE WORLD JUST HURTS.

I have an allergy to caterpillar hair.....And thankfully it happened only twice so far....
The problem is my allergy makes my skin have raised large red patches...it makes me look horrible....And also there is a danger of these happening in my windpipe suffocating me....
