Rad like a poindexter.
Years of excessive Internet use has turned me into a total four-eyes.

Michelle used to want them when she was little. She even tried to trick her parents into getting her a pair.Goblin wrote:nope, but I've always kinda wanted them.
And now she needs them. 'Cause she can't freakin' see. And it sucks.

I've worn glasses since I was 3.
Initially, my pre-school tried to hold me back a year and or put me into the "slow" class, because I wasn't coloring in the lines and I was getting upset. It turns out that I couldn't see the lines to color them. They gave me glasses, and now I'm planning to major in art - top of my class in high school...

Been wearing them since grade 6 (eleven or twelve). They've been bifocal lenses forever too. Originally because they could let me see a long way away (like I needed to) and so I could still wear them when writing at the desk.
Turns out apparently that was the wrong choice...and now I have to wear bifocals forever. It's not too bad though. Occasionally I lost the shuttlecock as it came over the net in badminton because they changed focus as I looked through both lenses...and occasionally the same has happened playing cricket. But I can see, so all's good.
I tried contacts but they were a bugger to put in.
I'd think about laser corrective stuff mainly because in my line of work I end up in the pool or what not with the kids regularly enough that wearing glasses in the water to see which little bugger is trying to crawl on my back can be a nuisance.

haven't had a need for glasses, yet; my eyesight's 20/15, tho everyone else in my family is well on their way to losing all eyesight completely. i think it was all those soccer balls smacking me about that has kept my eyes nice all these years

"VOOM!" is what a space dreadnought's main cannon should sound like.
