Agreed. As much as I love the forums and the people on it, the ComicGen mainsite should represent the whole of ComicGen . . . the people with one poorly drawn comic of injokes with no other update, the forumites, the comic artists who just plain don't take to forums, the ones who never checked out the forums . . .

The main page has got to be for all.

Well, that makes it personal then. I have to reply now.

And the reply is no. The purpose of the site is to advertise the comics and smooth the way for people to find the ones they want. Flash isn't a bad idea in itself but an entire Flash intro is just putting things in their way that'll slow them down. They probably won't hang around or click the extra click. They'll probably just leave.

yeah, negative on that... i hate flash intros for many reasons.

if you really want to do it though, why don't you just make it as a seperate thing to dl if someone chooses to do so?

Actually, outside of self-contained flash games and cartoons, unless there's a no-flash version, flash is a very, very stupid idea.
