There are three by them in that scene too.Teammayhem wrote:hell no, I love that song. (thanks to that BMW film Guy Richie did)mcDuffies wrote:"Song 2"?Teammayhem wrote: that "whoo hoo" song.
its that song with the 5 6 7s. The one during the resturant in the first film.
It's the one that has the girls going "Woo hoo, woo hoo hoo." Which was then licensed to a million commercials and went from cool to annoying.
A man with nothing to offer and nothing to lose.
it was annoying to start with!Escushion wrote:There are three by them in that scene too.Teammayhem wrote:hell no, I love that song. (thanks to that BMW film Guy Richie did)mcDuffies wrote: "Song 2"?

And just like a 50 year old stuck in the music of the 70's, I probably will be listening to these guys for a long time (more or less).phactorri wrote:JTigerclaw wrote: I listen to whatever is on my Ipod at random, which includes mostly...

I had roughly the same taste when I was 15 too, except more pop-punk like the Ataris and the Starting Line. And I idolized Blink 182 back then.

Rasputina use to rock out. I don't know what happened to them between Ether and that Forest album. think they lost somebody or something.
Course me I play in electronic music, so a lot of what I like now comes from that scene. course I think being involved in a scene, of music really has a lot to do with what you hear. If i wasn't out talking to so many other electro guys and gals I'd probably not have gotten into so many bands of said genre. Like wise if my friends weren't into punk/indie stuff I'd not have listened to so much of it, or been exposed to so much of it.
nothing wrong with that, my best friend listens to a lot of indie/punk stuff still to this day. I like some of the newer stuff, but its not where my heart is anymore. Course he also plays in a band with a sound simular to Hot water music, or an against Me. Funny story is that we know the guys in the band, and we always joke that Against me could have been his band, but then again his band was going through a lot of issues at the time Against me got signed.JTigerclaw wrote: And just like a 50 year old stuck in the music of the 70's, I probably will be listening to these guys for a long time (more or less).

That's really cool you play electronic music. I've been getting into a little bit of that because of my roommate, so you're totally right about getting into the stuff that you're around alot. He listens to alot of Mindless Self-Indulgence, and I'm starting to like them more. My band is a punk band, so that adds to my love for the genre.nothing wrong with that, my best friend listens to a lot of indie/punk stuff still to this day. I love Against Me! They put on the 2nd best live show I've ever seen. To know them personally like you do would be awesome.

Re: music to get artsy to...
This may come as a shocker to some; but I listen to classical music, new age music, scores by Craig Armstrong or Hans Zimmer or Toshiro Masuda, or Nightwish and Tristania.captainclover wrote:just curious what sort of music/bands people listen to when they're drawing/painting/making other art stuff.
