But does this mean that any new game or program is going to have to take this into account and make pictures, or will they be downloaded, or will any body using it only be allowed to play Quake for eternity?
The mac version will probably just use InputSprocket. It's there already.

You can probably just assign whatever images you want.

Eh?
Just pull the keys out and rearrange them. 'Swhat my brother did - messed me up every time I tried to use his computer, too. =/

I think that only works on some keyboards I believe--typically newer ones.

Looks cool, yeah, but I bet you ten bucks that you could buy another computer with the money that you use to buy the keyboard.

If I had an awesome keyboard ( read 'ridiculously complicated' ) I'd probably never learn how to configure it. Like the Optimus (or something) keyboard. Looks cool that it can change to different languages, but I bet it's a pain in the butt to configure.

you know there are enough jokes with technophiliac that a misinterpretation is unnecessary...

The other thing I should point out if that the keyboard does have a limited lifespan. OLEDs only have a stable life of about 10,000 hours. Which isn't very long. I can vouch for OLEDs dying, I had to switch back to an old phone of mine, and it's very clear that the screen is dying, not from damage, but just from old age.
