It's cold without feathers! YOu know, I swear, Angie pretends to be SUCH a sport about the doggy jokes I make, but then she just turns around and abuses her power... *l*
As a side note, I'm no expert on parrots, but when parakeets sleep, they turn their heads 180 degrees (excorcism anyone? *L*). Unless they're sick, then they don't. so I guess I may have found a nit. Ha! *Keeps it safe and guards it forever*
I lived with a parakeet for a few weeks once. he was living in our dorm room illegally. i HATED that bird, though i suspect it was more that i hated his owner and the bird was an easier target. i think i'm more a cat person. Or a plant person, maybe. *L* though my pet rock is really nice...
Why SpiritWalker, I didn't know you cared.
Angie> Oh yeah? Well, er... I, er... I used to have a parakeet! ... Is Arno a cockatoo? *l*
Mel> How could you think bad thoughts abpout a parakeet! Pets don't come more innocent and honest than that! *l* It bit you, didn't it? Didn't it?
Say, that pet rock, it IS housebroken, right?
Mel> *LOL* To quote Animal Planet: "Life is better with animals."
------------------
Mighty power of the pencil to you!!
Kiva> I'll remember that next time I sit in a room where the walls are covered with tarantulas, alligators are snapping at my anckles and killer bees are buzzing around my head. I bet I'd feel a lot better.
Bow> *L* *sigh* You think faaaar too shallowly, my friend. First of all, the tarantulas are only there because they were invited to a party in honor of the queen killer bee's 21st birthday. They don't want to drink and sting, so since they've sworn off killing for the evening. And the alligators.... well, SOMEONE needs to keep the feces-flinging baboons at bay. So you are of NO concern to them.
*L* So next time, don't be so quick to judge!!!
------------------

Then the master of the ferals be I! I'm so much more interesting than such people as the Great Evolutionary too, mrah! Well, maybe.
Of course, the heat could just be affecting me, it's not cold here, it's hot! In a bad way, it's a dry heat ... the kind of heat that gets inside my head and causes me to dance around tall buildings calling out "Rupunzel!" after watching Airplane. Okay ... maybe not but it is hot, it is messing with my head and I was bored enough to reopen this thread, yay!
I just notice the name of this thread and I just had to say...
its NOT cold, its friggin HOT! For the UK anyway. I didn't know it GOT his hot here. o.o
I'm impressed.
*skitters off to make more pointless comments*
It is, it's foreignly hot. Next thing we know we'll have tornadoes and such setting down here, whee! Wouldn't that be fun? {mutters about idiots with old Cars and idiots not disposing of fridges properly and generally any idiot that thinks the degeneration of the ozone layer and the effects thereof are merely myth}
[This message has been edited by SpiritWolf (edited 07-06-2001).]
