Well, I'm tempted to torture you with my rendition of Mr Garrison's Merry ... er ... Better late than never...
I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas with your friends and/or family and lots of nice presents! (*looks at the large New York City panorama photo calendar on his wall which he got from his sister*)
We had the first white Christmas here since at least 15 years! Yay!!
This is what I got for x-mas:

The above mentioned calendar (really cool)

The new U2 CD "all that you can't leave behind"

Some clothes (can't do without on x-mas )

Chocolate and candy (dito)

a new electric razor (it was really time to get rid of my G2K beard)

this and that

wonderful snow all around

nevertheless a save trip to my family and back by car

So altogether this was a really nice x-mas for me this year. How was yours?

Mine was particularly groovy. Mom came over to visit and that means so did her boyfriend, who's almost my equal in gaming skill ... which is nice.
I got a DreamCast and games. One being Sword of the Beserk which is frankly so sick it makes HR Geiger stuff look like a happy little tea party, the collective in it makes the Borg look like a bunch of pansies, it's probably going to give me nightmares (hee) but I can't put it down. The story is just too damned good, based off a Japanese novel and that.
Mostly though the high point of this is that soon enough I'll be able to get Grandia II and Skies of Arcadia, yay!

{starts laughing as he visualizes Malibu in a TNG luitenants uniform saying "I am an android."} So you have the position of general knowledge person then Mal ... or this boards' Data. ;>
As for the Dreamcast, it's a final little console, graphically it's somewhere between the PlayStation and a top of the range PC. It's a very nice piece of hardware, mostly it's tried to be an 'arcade machine' instead of a console and thus not many RPGs have been released for it. Skies of Arcadia and Grandia II will be the first two and it's started out on the right foot because both of those games are flawless and I want them, badly! They're not out in the UK yet though so I have to wait {sulks}.

Actually Skies is one of the biggest RPG sensations to ever grace a console, being the only non-linear RPG since Fallout. ;>
Egads, it's been that long?
As for Final Fantasy VII, you never had that before now? Nanaki rules, he's awesome! You'll come across him near the start of the game, nicknamed Red XIII. He's not as cool as Tiger of the Wind {murr} but still, he's pretty damned groovy.
Mal>Ahh. Okee. Thanks..
We're all listing what we got?
Well if anyone cares I got a Rubik's cube, a tin whistle, a fuzzy animals calendar, a german dictionary, a black top, a pen set and some chocolate. Oooh and scrunchies! ....and everyone told me I was a nightmare to shop for...

And I envy anyone who got books

Angie>*snickers* Silly.
