would be best for cleaning up my comic?
I draw my comic by hand, scan it, resize it, and they are too messy and spelling errors, so I want to draw over them in something, make them look neater, what would you guys/girls/its/things/qntfts think?

thanks, it's ok, but how much does photoshop cost? way to much.... I am not sure but I hear it cost a lot... well... I guess I could draw over everything with black lines in pant....

Honestly, you can probably find some outdated versions of photoshop online for a lot cheaper than the newer editions, with most of the same features. Though other folks will probably have alternate suggestions... I know we have a variety of tastes in programs here (I'd just an Adobe whore).

The only free alternative to Photoshop is a program called Gimp. I don't use it myself but a friend does, and she swears by it.

I've heard that you can put skins on gimp to make it look and function almost exactly like photoshop....

Well for what I needed gimp worked really well.. thanks... I get what I did up... see if you guys like it... well... I well sooner or latter. most likely latter.

I always recommend Paint Shop Pro, which is not free, but is much much cheaper than Photoshop and covers all the basics.

Photoshop - however thats what my editor uses for clean up and effects

i use paintshop pro for the major work horse stuff -\
however Photoshop is winning more and more

gimp seems way too limited for my liking however it *is* free -
paintshop pro 4 to 6+
its the next in line
and top dog is Photoshop 6+ to 7+

Well my comic is not really the best thing ever... I think a fancy program would be wasted on it to be truthful, but gimp seems to be working... thanks a lot every one.
