Cameo Contest #2: Guest Strip contest

Post by King Author »

That's right, I'm a glutton for punishment, so I'm gonna try again to see if I can get some actual guest comics. So, here's the run down.

Email your comic or a link to your comic to Author_Pendragon@hotmail.com (that's me) Comics may be drawn in any medium. I'll try to get a copy of my custom sprite sheets and backdrops up this evening, so people can use those if they want.

The winner will get a spot on KotOC, and the rest will be saved for a guest week, somewhere down the line.

Winners will be selected mostly off of comedic quality, although artistic quality will be a lesser influence.

I will bring in a team of esteemed colleagues to judge your comics, and by esteemed colleagues, I mean my two friends (both of whom have made guest "Stick figure week" comics in the past) and my girl friend.

If, by some sheer miracle, I get enough comics, I might actually runner ups with lesser cameo apperances.

If nobody submits any, then I'll give the runner up from Cameo Contest #1 the second spot.

I'm no good with rhyming, so this contest might be up my alley. Is the deadline the same for this contest (24th)? Also, is it possible to submit multiple entries?

Uh, that's a yes to both of your questions. For now the deadline will be Christmas, and you can submit as many as you want.

So are there any other stipulations the the contest? Like number of panels (can there be more or less than your comic)? Or preferred file-type/maximum file size? Any dimensions on the comic itself? And just to clarify, does the comic have to tie-in somehow with your comic or can it be about anything using anything (appropriate, of course)?

You can use any number of panels you want. You can use any type of font/size you want, but if I can't read it, it'll loose points. Try to keep the file size down as much as possible for storage reasons. And yes, the comic has to be some how connected to KotOC. It can be about the villians, the heroes, the idiots in jail, anything. As long as there is SOME tie-in to KotOC it's fair game
