Comic Genesis Forums

For my first year I did a (rather botched, due to internet problems) rendition of the 12 days of Christmas, KotOC style. Our first Cameo Contest will be to create your own KotOC Christmas Carol. Here are the rules

1: Must be based off of a real Christmas Carol/song (any will do, doesn't matter how recent)
2: Must be re-written to be about some element(s) of KotOC. The knights, the villians, whatever.
3: No profanities and such.

Post the Christmas Carols right here, in the following format:
<name>
<Name of KotOC Kristmas Karol>
(based off of <Real Christmas Carol>)

<lyrics>

Winner will be decided Christmas Eve (tentative end date. Depending on how things go, both in and out of comic, I might push it back)

So good luck!

do they have to be actual christmas carols?

Yes, and by Christmas carol I mean it's got to be based off a real song that's really about Christmas. ANY song about Christmas counts, but I'm going to insist that it's at least that much.

Never mind... I was going to do a Futurama inspired theme, but then I noticed that it had to center around the main characters.

Uh, it doesn't have to be about the main characters, it just has to be about some element of KotOC.

How many song submissions are we allowed?

You are allowed to enter as many times as you want. However, in the event that nobody enters the guest comic contest and second place wins the prize, you will not be elligible to win both cameo slots. That would just be wierd.

Thank you for posting my song entry.

(Finally got to register for forums {yeah})

No problem, but if people don't get some more entries in than this contest may become void. I need TWO winners and so far you're the only one who's submitted ANYTHING. THere's been a lot of talk, but nobody's actually submitting.

Come on guys, at this rate it's an easy win.
