heres an Arcana challenge for you!

A new challenge awaits any who wish to try it. Post your name, and your favorite Arcana character, and i will give you three words to make a short story, poem or picture out of.

For example Struck3xbylightning, Sloane. Diamond, wings, murder

now to make a story featuring diamonds, wings and murder. It can be in comic form or just written.

or draw a picture Sloane, holding a dead vampire wearing a diamond necklace, with a picture of wings on his shirt.

the winner will recieve a picture of their favorite character from me. Winner will be decided in another topic post called "challenge winner" and we all vote on who wins.

My turn

Sloane....diamonds....wings....murder.

he kept it in his top drawer of his dresser, covered over with socks and boxers, only opening it on special occaissions to stare at it longingly. It reminded him of happier times, when things seemed perfect and easier. He had thought Holden would be the one, never thought it would turn out the way it did. Sometimes Fate can be a Cruel Bitch!

He slammed the dresser shut.. Dammit! why does this all have to be like it is? he asked no-one in particular. he was to give his lover the diamond as a gift for Valentines Day. On his way there it happened.

" he stepped out of the door way and into the street, quickening his pace to match those of the rest of the people using the footpath, dodging and weaving in and out of the crowd in his excitement to get there. He only had two more blocks to go and it was his...."

" suddenly, from above came the sound of wings, each beat powerful and steady, the wind surging the autumn leaves upward in a dazzling array of reds and oranges, swirling through the air and seeming to slow time,.... then it hit...."

" the wings came down...and so did the sword....right through his chest in a spray of crimson. he fell down, killed by a Harpy. It was then that.... that...those beautiful wings that committed murder rose up, flapped twice and were gone."

Sloane watched in horror as the Harpy descended silver sword poised for the killing blow. powerless to scream, let alone stop the Harpy, he could only watch his lover die. He would never wear the diamond, nor look at his lovers face again, all he would remember....... would be wings..... and murder.

Diamonds....wings....murder.
