A dark shadow swept down the alleyway silently. The full moon shined on the outside street A black and brown cat meowed loudly.
"It's okay, Silas. I do this everyday, you don't need to be worried about me." The half vampire, half cat demon knelt down to scratch his head before murmuring to him. "Look about, there's something else here that's not human"
She looked about 18 with long, wavy, dark brown hair. She wore a black overcoat with the upturned collar, black pants and boots and black felt hat that was pulled low over her forehead. Her face was nearly entirely covered except for her bright, cat-like green eyes which flashed in the night.
She strode purposefully round to the side of the broken down warehouse and entered from a side door; looking around carefully. The girl's name was Reiangiila Sahelai.

Sin sighed, pushing a hand through her wild black and red hair as she struggled to open the door to her apartment. When the Cheriel finally managed to defeat the stupid door she strode inside, wincing as some singer that she didn't know shreiked from the living room. Blake. One of Blake's small hobbies was collecting heavy rock music CDs, and it drove Sin nearly round the bend because she got stuck living the annoying girl. Blakeaneze Jeral, Sin's imfamous partner, known for getting rid of partners quickly. Sin wandered into the living room to see the white haired girl singing quietly to the music, swaying from side to side. Then Sin spotted something she didn't want to see. Uh-oh! Or rather, didn't see.
Sin walked over and tapped Blake on the shoulder.
"Hey B. where's the stereo gone?" She asked, trying to keep her voice even, dreading the girls answer.

As Rei softly closed the door behind her; she searched the room with her knowing eyes. Even though it was shrouded in darkness, her senses were realing. She could feel the Government Official pacing about in another room, nervous about meeting someone in even a slightly dim lit room. She smiled evilly, revealing pointed vampire fangs.
Hold on what was that? she wondered. There was another presence close by but it wasn't Silas- it was the thing that she'd warned him about. She couldn't quite distinguish what or who it was- it was like it was cloaked or soemthing- hidden from her all seeing eyes. Rei did know that whatever it was- it wasn't human and that slightly troubled her. Well, it didn't have anything to do with her, she here for one thing and one thing only. To get her job.
Assassinations did pay extremely well, she thought as she prowled the room. Especially ones from the Government. Being alone, Rei needed to support herself and she did it the only way she knew how- killing people. It wasn't really her job- more like a hobby. She needed to drink blood to stay alive so why not get paid for doing it?
Suddenly, the door opened to reveal the burly-looking Government Official. He looked around, then spotting her just on the outside of the circle of dim light he gestured for her to join him the office room.

"Heh," he said quietly to himself "I didn't expect another... Looks like shes vamp and mabye,"He stopped suddenly "Ah a cat shes a cat demon too well this'll be fun," As the girl slipped into the wherehouse Van landed softly on the roof.
He was a vampire too only half though after being offered a contract this was his meeting point for his employer a man from the government. He thought it was fishey someone from the government wanting an assassin but he also knew they would pay well so he went inside through the roof but only because of this girl she was older than him about 18, he was 17.
He saw the man from the government and the girl but she stopped he knew she sensed him so he kept his distance.

"So, what game is this?" The girl said. Her wide brown eyes reminded her of a cow...just a little. Cat grinned his trademark smile, his gray eyes never leaving hers. He shuffled the cards quickly, his eyes never leaving her face. It was a dark, seedy bar, with a bartender that didn't ask questions. Several empty beer bottles littered the table, Cat had spent 20 bucks to keep this girl in the bar, he hopes her wallet was full.
"A fun one," was his slick reply. "Just trust me!" The girl smiled at him, her vacant eyes once again reminding him of some sort of cow, one being led to slaughter.
"Okay, I trust you." He knew what she was expecting, poor girl. He spread the cards out on the table.
"Pick one." The girl hesitated, before taking a swig of the bottle in front of her and picking a card. She studied it for a moment, unawares that Cat was taking her hand.
"Okay..."
He turned her wrist up and pressed it to his lips. "Is it..the ace of spades?" Her eyes widened in surprise and she was about to say yes, but Cat took that moment to bite into her wrist, springing up to cover her mouth with his free hand. No one seemed to notice as Cat drained his victim, no one seemed to care. After a while, she stopped struggling, falling back in her seat, those wide cow eyes opened wide in shock. He sat back in his own chair, dabbing his mouth with a napkin. In a smooth, fluid movement, he leaned over and closed her eyes, kissing each eyelid. Finally, he grabbed her purse.
Thank God, he thought to himself. This one has money. He took the wad of tens and twenties and shoved them into his pocket. Gathering his cards, he got to his feet, heading towards the bar.
"Thanks Charlie," he said, slipping a few twenties into the tip jar. Charlie smiled at him.
"No problem Cat, come back any time."
With a spring in his step, Cat left the bar, slipping his pack of cards back into his pocket. The stars were so bright tonight, and the world seemed to be spinning around him. It was almost like he was..
"Hic." Drunk. Cat thought of all the beers the girl had had, then he thought about blood alcohol content. Wow, he never thought this could happen. Giggling to himself, he staggered a bit down the street. What a wonderful feeling!

Rei sauntered into the same dingy room. The Government Official- Spike was his name- was sweating a little but still managed to look at her as if she was dirt under his feet. She growled low in her throat- she hated this type of loathsome human. Arrogant bastard- you wont be so smug when I kill you, she thought wickedly.
She leaned her back against the side wall; her green eyes flashing expectantly- waiting for him to tell her what he wanted her for. When he didn't answer, she said in a throaty voice: "Well, who is it that you are wanting to get rid of?" She smiled when he jumped slightly as he heard her speak. Hmmm, she liked it when they were even remotely frightened of her.
"Well, we need to assassinate this man," Spike slid over a manilla folder with 'Ruklan ________' (OOC- sorry couldnt remember Ruklans last name- will fix later!) written down the side. SHe picked it up and flicked through it, pausing at his picture.
This one looks intelligent, she thought, like he knew something that they didn't want him to know; I suppose thats why Im doing this job isn't it?
She snapped his folder closed quickly and looking up at Spike, she noticed he was trying to look formidable again.

Blake looked up at her roommate, purple eyes solem behind her sheild.
"It was evil. It kept eating my CDs. After Requeim, Rememberance, Griffity and about 3 of my singles were gone I realised that it must have been possesed." Blake stated. Then she smiled sadly, arching an eyebrow and turned back to the computer, putting the earphones in and then, and only then, chucked a thumb over her shoulder in the general direction of the kitchen.
Sin sighed, puching her hand through her dyed hair again and wandered into the kitchen, dreading what she would see.
Yep. She wasn't dissapointed. In the middle of the kitchen lay the broken fragments of her new, eight disc stereo. Sinyal grimaced and nudged it with a toe. Blake had done this three times now. But then Sin was surprised to see blood start to ooze out from between the broken parts.
"Wow...she finally got one." Sin mused quietly to herself, surprised that Blake had actually caught the possesing spirit.
"Hey Sin! I'm going out." Blake said suddenly, poking her head around the door and smiling at her roomie. She didn't want her partner to realise that she was throughly disturbed by something. She had just spotted a Shadow-Creeper.
"Kay then B. bye!" Sin said absentmindedly, gathering the bits of her stereo in her arms as the other Cheriel left.

"Now, where did that damned thing go?" Blake said quietly to herself, glancing around as she searched for the Creeper, wanting to find it before it found someone else. She shrugged, not seeing the beastie here, and moved on.

"Van," Came the voice from above then with no warning Van dropped from the ceiling "No, i wasn't to happy either," Seeing the anger and shok in her eyes

"Well its not like me to ask questions, You ready," He said to Rei trying to sound as though he wasn't bothered but he did actually like having someone around he could protect even though she was obviously older than he was.

"Cat!"
He stumbled and nearly fell upon hearing his name. He decided to give up on walking for a moment, and plunked down on the curb. The fact that he was drunk was beginning to scare him. Can vampires get alcohol poisoning? He saw a dark haired shape appear in front of him, kneeling down to get a better look at him. It became more detailed as he saw her dark blue eyes, and the thin, upside down triangle underneath her left one.
"Hey 'Liza," Cat said, trying to shoot a grin her way. He managed a grimace. She sighed, and hoisted him to his feet. The sudden jerking movment made his stomach turn, and soon Eliza was helping him lean over, so he didn't throw up in the street.
"What did you get yourself into this time?" Eliza said, shaking her head. "You need to be more careful with these girls you bring to Charlie's."
He wiped his mouth with his sleeve, glad that black didn't show stains that much. Without a word, Eliza offered her wrist, and Cat struggled to find a place without scars. Her eyes flashed yellow as he bit in. He drained as much as he wanted, avoiding her eyes until he was finished. This was almost an every day occurence for them.
"She's too nice to you," a completely different voice said. Cat looked up at Eliza, well, not Eliza anymore. Her eyes were now a bright golden yellow. "I hope you see that, even if she doesn't."
"I know Kitai, why don't you tell her yourself?"
"I do, she never listens." They both sat on the curb, looking out at the darkness of the city. Cat could have sworn he saw something move in the shadow of an alley, out of the corner of his eye, but he dismissed it.
"She's a good kid," he said. "She doesn't deserve this life."
"You were a good kid once...Gregory." She pointed in the direction of the cross around Cat's neck. Cat looked down at it, but he didn't touch it. He hated how Kitai could read his mind, she probably knew everything. He tried to will her out of his head. Don't call me that, he thought. Now, they call me Cat.
"Listen," he began, reaching into his pocket. "I got some money, it's not much, but Eliza might be able to get a hotel to stay for a night or two, will you do that for me? Check her in?"
The demon's eyes went wide at the prospect of actually sleeping in a real bed, with real blankets. She snatched the money out of Cat's hand as soon as he brought it out. Good, Eliza would have never taken it herself. Kitai got to her feet, heading back towards the busier streets of the city.
"Don't let her back until you're checked in, all right? And tell her I'll be okay." Kitai turned back to look at him.
"Thanks Cat, I'm sure Eliza will thank you too."
"Hey! No mushy thank yous, alright? Are you a demon or what?" Cat broke out into his grin, and Kitai smiled back.
"Be careful tonight, there's a shadow creeper out, and they're nasty things."
"A what?"

"Hmmm, he's a brave little bastard isn't he?" A voice mused from behind Blake.
She flinched slightly but didn't turn, for some reason expecting the Shadow-creeper that she was following to hear the voice. But it didn't. It just kept on creeping down the path.
"It's a good thing I'm the only one who can hear you." Blake said quietly. Then she turned. Behind her stood a red eyed girl with straight brown hair that came to her elbows. Widdershins grinned.
"You really didn't think I'd let you track that by yourself, did you?" Widdershins said, comming to stand beside Blake.
"No, I guess not." Blake said as she followed the shadow-creeper, Wid by her side.
Then she heard a voice,
"What the heck is that?"
Blakeaneze looked up to see the Shadow-creeper grinning hungrily as it looked at what it probably thouhgt was it's next victim.
"Oh, no you don't" Blake said and, picking up her scythe, leapt for the Shadow-creeper...just a tad too late. It heard her and moved, sinking back into the shadows and silently moving towards the man.
"Hey, you!" Blake called in desperation, "don't move, whatever you do!" She said, grabbing a handgun, wanting to blow the creeper's head clean off. Then she waited for the thing to surface to try and kill the person.

Blake rolled her eyes and carefully took aim at the creature rising from the shadows. But just as she was about to pull the trigger the Creeper turned and, shreiking, took off, past Cat and down the alley, moving extreamly quickly for something that looked so delicate and sketal.
"Damn," Blake whispered and took aim again. She pulled the trigger and a bullet buried itself in the Shadow-creeper's upper leg. It roared in pain but stumbled on, slowing as it tried to flee from the albino-haired girl with the gun. Blake fired off three more bullets, bringing the creature to it's knees and sprang towards it, scythe raised. The metal sung and there was a sickening thud as the Creeper's head rolled across the alley and ungracefully rolled to a stop nearby.
Blakeaneze frowned and cocked her head, examining the head with a concerned expession.
"Shit..." she sighed, and kicked the head.
"What is it?" Widdershins said, appearing behind Blake.
"It's not him...Thats not the one I saw earlier." Blake said. The guy must've thought her crazy, talking to herself and all.
"Whaaa?! Not him?!" Widdershins exclaimed, red eyes wide. "You see if that guy," she pointed to Cat, "is alright, and i'll go and try to track the other one down." Widder said and the air shimmered for a second before she dissapeared.
"Hey," Blake said, turning back to the guy, "you ok?"

Rei looked as the someone dropped from the ceiling. Hmm a half vampire- I should have known, she thought to herself, smiling evilly.
So Van was his name; lets hope he smarter than he looks, she thought her head still bent over, not happy that he had seen the shock in her eyes before she could quickly mask it. Showing emotions wasn't a good thing especially when you were damned.
"Van," Came the voice from above then with no warning Van dropped from the ceiling "No, i wasn't to happy either," Seeing the anger and shok in her eyes
"Ahhh, a half-vampire I should have known," she said mostly to her self in a soft undertone that she knew he would hear anyway.
"I hate cats," Said Van "But there's just something about thier eyes. Their eyes are really..... Pretty like yours,"
She glared at him angrily, "And I hate humans so we're going to get along really well," a sarcastic tone in her voice.
"Lets go,"he said confidently like she would bend to his every whim. I think not.
Rei stepped off the wall so she was standing up properly. "Wait," she said softly looking at Spike. Taking off her felt hat, her long hair fell down to the middle of her back in luscious (OOCi love that word! hehe) waves. She glanced back at Van when she was facing the Government Official; she knew he had seen her cat demon ears but she didn't care. Turning back to Spike, her eyes became greener and more enchanting, lulling him into a half awake state. She walked up to him and gently tilted his head, looking back at Van before lowering her mouth to his neck and biting down.
A shudder passed through Spike as she drained him of his life force. Whe she was finished she dropped him to the ground and turned back to face Van. Making a noise in her throat she said, "I would have offered but i didn't know if you were hungry or not."
Rei walked over to the door and where Van was standing. She was about to walk out of it when she heard or rather felt an evil sounding howl run through the air. "Wait, did you hear or rather feel that?" She asked quietly.
"Shadow-creeper" she whispered, "I hope the basterd got what it deserved." What she wouldn't do to have one right in front of her right now- just so she could let out her anger at being partnered (she sneered at the word) with someone else- especially someone who was like her.

Rei quickly and extremely silently ran out of the warehouse, dragging her hair up and back into the felt hat, Van close in tow. She didn't hesitate to jump up on the roof instead of running down the alley.
Leaning over to watch the scene play out below she watched as a Cheriel ran after the Shadow-creeper and shot it- wounding it before finally slicing its head off with a scythe. However, her gaze was drawn quickly to an obviously pretty drunk vampire sitting nearly in the gutter. This one was a made vampire- she could tell. She looked over at Van and reclined, letting her leg fall over the gutter, dangling in mid air. She wondered if the vampire could sense that she was here or maybe he was too drunk to even realise.
Rei shook her head warily as she watched the Cheriel move back to the vampire, wondering if she knew that they were there. She didn't often see Cheriels much. Rei knew that this had nothing to do with her and normally she kept away from other beings but for some reason she felt almost drawn to these creatures (OOC: Dont mean to sound crude) and wanted to learn about them- especially the vampire (OOC: No offense Damned- I just thought coz she's part vampire you know...)
Weirdly she waited for Van to say or do something anything as she sat there in the dark watching...

Cat watched the white haired girl track down and kill the thing that was going to kill him. The fog in his head was lifting, and that weird feeling of drunkeness was going away. He stood up, brushing himself off, trying not to look to scared.
"Yeah, I'm fine, thanks, uh..nice scythe." There was something about the girl that made him a little uncomfortable, but he grinned at her anyway. Suddenly...he turned around. Who was there? His gray eyes scanned the area around him. Weird, that's all he could say, he just sensed something weird...
ooc: Sure you can join in! That's the beauty of an RPG! Things can go in so many different directions!

"Hey watch it," Came Van's reply to Rei tugging his shirt
Wait up, Shes fast he thought to himself, Van jumped on to the building also and raced to the scene thier seemed to be a scuffel with a it looked like a cheriel, He haden't seen one of them for a while, He followed Rei who now sat atop the building looking down into the alley He sat with her and spotted a rather drunk vampire this one was deffinatly turned and pissed out of his head
The cheriel was chasing a shadow-creeper and after a few shots to the legs removed the head from the body with an eligant slash of its sythe "Wanna go down," Said Van .....

Cat immediately narrowed his eyes upon seeing the half human half vampire. The word cheater, flashed through his mind. He took a step toward the two of them, and he was stuck looking at the girl. Long brown hair, green eyes kinda cute...but there was something weird, something about her reminded him of Eliza when Kitai was in charge...and a cat. Did that make sense?
Cat demon, how could Cat be so blind? He flashed her a grin, letting his fangs show. "What's new pussy-cat?" He asked, crossing his arms.

Rei frowned, muttering:"It's too late now"; and jumped down right in front of the other vampire. Looking at him up and down she gave him a soul searching look before smiling evilly showing her identical fangs.
"Hmm, a made vampire- I haven't had the pleasure of meeting one for a while now.."She murmured low in her throat.
She began to walk slowly around him, studying him. "How old are you really- how long have you been on this earth? Somehow I doubt it's longer then I have" A hint of sadness touched her voice as she said this last statement and Cat saw a world of pain in her eyes before she quickly masked it with a cool calculating look. (OOC: I kinda took over Cat for a second there- hope you dont mind!)
Rei's attention was then drawn to the Cheriel. Her scythe still dripping slightly with blood- it was slung over her shoulder and she looked friendly and easy going. Rei suddenly realised Van was missing and quickly around sensing him behind her. She tried to convince herself that she wasn't worried about him or anything- just that he might not be able to handle himself as well because he was only half vampire. But dont forget so are you, a voice muttered in her head. So? another voice countered, dont forget you've had nearly 300 years experience..
