They're offering to publish Arcana in print, but I want to become more familiar with them myself. And try to contact some of the other artists with them. If you look at some of the comics there, they're obviously <i>hosting</i> them at least. I dunno. I'm curious, but skeptical. But damn curious.

Cool!
I dun know anything about them.
But Arcana in print would be SO cool! That way we wouldn't have to always go online (or on our comps) to read it or share it!
Poiiiiing!

dont mind me...
i tried too check out out as much as possible on these guys... even though i dont know anything about that kind of stuff
butt as far as getting arcana published, it would be a VondaVul thing too do. not only that, butt the more controversial subject matter of this comic would be shown in more of a glory light... more exposure too the world.
me being a straight guy (seperated from my friends for the timebeing) i really do enjoy this comic for its ability too show such strong emotions, that and its great art and story... butt i do have too becarful about who sees me reading something like this. it could create lots of problems with my job. it would be great if a comic like this did get published so yoai wouldnt freak so many people out.
butt as far as the publishing company, my uneducated instinct would be too go with a more popular company that would get its material out there too more people and therefor actually be seen by people who have never heard of it before. it would seem like eigomanga isnt that well known and doesnt have very many titles of its own. i say just wait it out cuz another publisher is bound too come by and try to pick you up... arcana is VonduVal like that.
that's my opinion and really had no real education put into it.

*ahem*
I have never heard of Eigo comics before, but I -have- heard of Moonation comics.
They have published 5 comics, a graphic novel, an anthology, and another anthology on the way. They started their company back in 1998, and I've been following them all the way. It's a fairly small company, but it's independent, and the people behind it are awesome.
They are always looking for new artists to add to their list of members, and their work is pretty darn good quality.
You may or may not have heard of the specific artists behind it, but here are their names anyway:
Gina Biggs (Used to be Gina Maglio)
Robin Sobolewski
Grace Ho (Ashura)
Me *grins*
Those are just the main people who publish. There have been several guest artists, and several writers/editors.
Printing with them is slightly expensive, but then again it's always expensive to publish a comic. ;__;
They send it to one of the best printers around. I forget the name, but I believe it to be "Quebecor" or something of the like. It's up in Quebec, Canada. It's the printer that prints the prefessional comics like Tokyo Pop stuff, etc..
If you are interested in taking a looksie, go ahead and check out their website at:
http://www.moonation.com
And make sure to check out the "Submission" information.

It says in the Moonation Submission section that in order to submit an application, you must have at least half of the series completed, and they want short stories, not long series. >_o; So unless I wanted to start something new, which I really don't, that doesn't work... ._.

hey ... yeah good plan but wht is really the point cuz the manga is over and we all pretty much read it all online anyways so really unless the creator decides to continue with new pages then really whats the point lol but yeah i think it would be neat if it wasnt finished

yah it would be cool to see Arcana in print! then you ould hae your own copy forver!! ^_^ but wow look at all those old people who used to be here!
"You are extremely afraid of any kind of initial contact aren't you? Are you that afraid of other people? I know that by keeping others at a distance you avoid a betrayal of your trust. But while you may not be hurt that way, you mustn't forget that you must endure the loneliness. Man can never completely erase this sadness, because all men are fundamentally alone. Pain is something that man must endure in his heart. And since the heart feels pain so easily some believe life is pain." ~Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death and Rebirth
