yutogi tasted the soup...mmmmm goood! quickly he wolfed down the rest and wandered over to the stove to see if there was more in the pot. There was, just enough for another refill...thankyou Ferrous! he thought helping hinmself, yutogi ate this lot more slowly, savoring the flavours and enjoying its cloying scent and warmth.

as he was finishing his last few spoonfuls, he heard a noise up on deck, the sound of people jumping from the netting to land hard on the deck......

yutogi knew what this meant...the ship was being boarded!!!!!!

Yutogi ran back to the table, grabbing his dagger as he went past it and up to the Gally stairs....a shadow blocked the entrance..... the attacker couldnt see yutogi, as the angle of the stairs and the way Yutogi was hiding against them in the darkness of the galley...giving Yutogi a sklight advantage.

He leaned back against the wall, seeming to blend into the shadows, the attacker had come down the stairs now as was heading to ward the soup pot..... yhe was massive! at least 6...no SEVEN feet tall and built like an iron golem, with trunk like arms and a short but thick sword in his right hand leading the way.... Yutogi knew he was way out matchedm looking to the exit for an escape without being seen...

the attacker peered into the soup pot, which was now empty, and groaned...he must be hungry Yutogi thought -grinning- Yutogi thought quickly of a plan to get the attacker...daring maybe....completely stupid if it didnt work, but worth the shot.

Yutogi dropped his dagger onto a barrel near him, leaving him unprotected and in a dangerous position. Speaking to the attacker quietly, he said "please, dont harm me, I am only the cabin boy and will be in need of a Master to serve when you take this ship" bowing his head and steeping out of the shadows, Yutogi made himself look as non threatening as possible..... the giant made toward him, sword in hand.....

Oh my god O.o;; I completly forgot about this topic. This was getting to be a really cool RGP! Anyone wanna continue? I know that Hope and Vampz and Doge haven't been around, but we could still soldier on. New people? Please?

History: Fourth in a long line of pirating women, Vivyan is one of the most calm pirates on the waves. She does not enjoy killing, but rather sweet talking to plunder unsuspecting ships. Most of the time she's just trying to stop being overthrown. (Arr, mutiny!)

History: Roger washed ashore on a port the Zephyr dream crew were using as a hideout 3 years ago. The young boy, starving and robbed of his memory, stole a small amount of gold from Vivyan's ship, but was caught. In exchange for his life he became cabin-boy, and has been on the ship ever since.

Well after a rarther lengthy vacation from this board i see this RP has gotr going again i wanna jouin again woot (New Username Its Vampz ) So how yall been. Anyway along with the RP.

"Saphire," Kai shouted to his sister as he cam onto deck. "We need to veer Westwards okay,"
"Ok," Came the reply from the helm (I figured out what it was called).

As he felt the ship turn Kai steadied himself on deck and stared up at the storm clouds brewing.

Wheeee! Vampz! *attacks* I missed you! *grin* Yay! Someone wants to continue with this RPG!!! I wanna start the other RPG back up again (you know, the really big one) but we're missing so many people who play in it!

Ferrous was out beyond the galley in next to no time, swinging around and heading straight fo rthe Captains quarters. The air was thick with electricity, the storm had encompassed as far as the eye could see in a purplish and black haze.

This storm was not natural.....

Ferrous made it to the Captains doorway and knocked loudly to be heard over the storms. "Come!" came the abrupt reply from behind the heavy, iron re-inforced door. Ferrous entered, eyeing the room. Captain was standing against the slate navigator's desk.

"Ferrous" Captain smiled warmly and bade him to take a seat. Ferrous shook his head. "captain, we are not alone on this ship" Ferrous said confidently.

"Are you sure?" Captain asked...Ferrous nodded...."then we must be ready for what is to come. They must have snuck up on us from somewhere within the storm waves."

"Captain...permission to...." Ferrous started to say

"NO" Captain retorted sharply. I need you here. Once the fighting starts, I want you guarding the cargo. Loss of the cargo means WE are lost."

Ferrous nodded, but his true feelings flashed briefly upon his face -cargo was of more value than the people on board- Ferrous had spent long enough at sea to understand what provisional loss meant, and cargo paid for those provisions. But there were other ways to survive. On the ocean, food is plentiful.....

Safety and the life value of its passengers should awlays outweigh cargo....

"I want you to use what ever means necessary to protect the life of the people too Ferrous" the tone in Captains voice was exactly what Ferrous wanted to hear. 'Protect the cargo, but defend the people with whatever means' Ferrous smiled. "it will be my honour" Bowing lightly, he turned on his heel and walked from the room.

The door had just shut when the ship lurched sharply to the left.

Ferrous was slammed hard against the side railing, cracking his head against the solid oak boards. Head spinning, he tried to focus on the ship, not the waves, to regain his balance. Gelatinous blobs were climbing over the railing....

Something large had its tentacles gripped around a few shipmates and had them wrapped around the Mainsail, attempting to drag itself up onto the ships deck....the men it its tentacles were still in the fight, slamming their special metal weapons against the rubbery flesh.

the blades bit in smoothly, but the angle they were attacking at was affecting the damage. Ferrous stood, and groggily drew a small pouch from his pocket.....

Ferrous leapt the ballistrade and threw the contents of the pouch at the nearest slug. The fine powder sizzled the moment it hit, bubbling and melting away the globinous flesh. The thing screamed, a hissing, gurgle of pain. It turned towards Ferrous, opening its mouth to squirt a noxious foam.

But the fine powder had done its job, spreading over the creature like a fungus, eating and melting flesh. Its mouth melted away like wax, and with no jaw left to focus its spittle, choked on its own vile mucous.

Ferrous looked for another opponent. The tentacled being was under control, all twelve arms accounted for. Four more slugs had two men cornered, another three men were trapped against the stairs, one slug above them, two below.

Ferrous took two bags of fine sand from his pockets and flung the contents over the slugs. Its stuck like salt on a snail and began to bubble. Ferrous grabbed a lantern and tossed it hard aginast the creatures. The fine powder burst into flames, sending gory chunks of slug flesh everywhere.

Noxious fumes rose from the deck, Ferrous called to a crewman to get a bucket and some water. The nearest crewman, a young sailor they only recently picked up, hurled a bucket on a rope over the side. He was promptly hauled over the edge by a large sinewy coil.

The flames had begun to spread, taking hold over the dry wooden boards. Soon, they would need to put them out, before the sails caught fire too. Two more bags went sailing through thair as Ferrous swept his way across the deck, two shots rang out from an old flintlock pistol. And two massive booms followed. Ferrous grinned...people were catching on!

Ferrous looked for Yyutogi, but could not see him. He must be below deck, in the Galley perhaps? Ferrous grabbed the railing and swung down into the hold....right into the back of a very burly and well armed man.

<EDIT> sorry, I re-wrote this bit, too much use of magic for my own liking, now, instead, Ferrous uses poisonous salts and gunpowder bags.

<OOC> hehehe, cool change to Ferrous, I was thinking that perhaps this Pirate RPG was going a little in the way of Pirates of the Carribean 2, but then I realised, this RPG was written before that even came out and hehe, there you go.

I had sent Ferrous to take care of our cargo, knowing that its loss would be costly. The lives of my crewmen were important to me, but the contents of this delivery could save more than this mere ship could carry.

I listened to the sounds of battle outside my window and readied my own weapns in the event the fighting got close to me. My rapier and flintlock pistol at the ready, I stepped out of my cabin and into Hell.....

I watched as Ferrous through two of his little 'xsplody bags' as he nicknamed them. Only a few days before he had shown me what he had been working on in that kitchen/chem lab he called his Galley.

I fired two rounds from my flintlock...and was promptly flung back against my cabin door with the force of the explosion......

<OOC> thanks man, Ferrous is fun to write. and yeah, similar to POTC2 but, this was written first. The use of a giant squid is nothing new, it happened to Captain Nemo of the Nautilus in Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, it also happened to the crew in Deep Rising, the crew of the Forgotten Realms novel -Tangled Webs. I think you get the picture.

Just been re-reading over this entire RP, man that was so much fun writing that. I wonder how the teo main ships would have met up though, we never got that far into it. I am sure a boarded ship destroyed in the storm and the attcak would have survivors, maybe the second ship picks them up or something...
