It's simple: posting in the forums makes Dani happy, and reminds her that she has a fanbase (albeit a small one) and so you're (slightly) more likely to get comics.

I found this comic about a year ago and it is hilarious. And I like when it updates. I am also very stupid and cannot speak coherently.
