No activity in the forum for a long time now. Joey has said she's shooting for a December comeback.

How about you there BJ? Are you re-designing your characters too?
If I didn't try.... How would I know, how would I know?

I hope BJ makes a comeback but no pressure.

-just, as long as we've got the thread going besides the great comic I wanna thank him for getting me into Oingo-Boingo and onto two wheels.

You too? I just bought my first motorcycle in April.

I told my wife I blame BJ. :D

Well, I figured I'd blamed genetics for enough...

I didn't want to be a thread hog but it is too quiet.

What kind of bike did you get?

Heh, we seem to have a classic bike trend going on.

'82 Yamaha XJ550R. Bought it with almost 22,000 on it in April, just garaged it for the winter with a little over 27,000.

We really need you back! This is coming from someone who doesn't really post in other people's forums. Jackie's Fridge was one of my favorite comics and I miss it! At the least, a little info on what's going on and/or what will happen with the comic would be nice...

I shall call him Squishy, and he shall be mine. And he shall be my Squishy.

I think I drew Fridge more times this year than BJ did. Plus, I have a planned storyline in HBNC (actually the second part of the storyline with Fridge) featuring Pig.

Hmm.... how does "Hbomb's Fridge" sound? ;)

I'm sorry I'm getting people in trouble with their spouses. And for not updating for over a year. What a sucky record to set.

Joey redesigning her characters got me interested in a "mind if I look over your shoulder" way. Then she handed me a book on retro character design, so I started noodling. Gimme a bit and I'll post the Jackie tweak.

So....we both went through our own archives and both of us were surprised how good they were. Then I re-read the Bitchin' Kitchen script I'm about 1/4 of the way through illustrating. I liked it.

So let's give this another try.

BTW, just to stay on topic, I'm gonna try finishing the cult strips, and my bike is an '81 Yamaha Maxim 550. It's a zippy little thing, when it's not under a blanket for winter.

Um...hi everyone. Whose strip is this, anyway? :)
Here's to the worst times of my life.

I'd love to see anything new from you (JF or otherwise). Oh, and I'd sell Josh Nickerson's soul to see that something new on Snowflake. ;) (Good talent's hard to find)

BTW, 3 of my comics, which I attempted to spin off on their own are currently re-running on Snowflake, with new comics coming in a few months, including the conclusion of the storyline with Fridge and Pig in "Hbomb's Brand New Comic".
