New Forum Possibility?

Post by JPSloan »

I've finally got the skinny on the Keenspace Forums. They are pretty much running on life support. The ones previously set up will run as is, but no new boards are being handed out. Also, they are not restoring old accounts.

And since a couple people I know may wish to post here, and can't (like Tygress), I'm thinking about getting a Talkaboutcomics board or something like that.

So, I'll keep you posted.

Lots of folks are getting talkaboutcomics forums. Happen to have an account on that list, by any chance?

Nope, so I guess it won't make a difference.

I noticed in the guest art you received that they were drinking at "sloan's place". I didn't realise you had a bar.

Well, see, here's the thing.

I have two retirement plans. First, I intend to retire from drafting, and finally escape the hell that is architectural millwork. When I do this, I will go back to school and get a teaching certificate so that I can pursue one of my two dreams in life... to be a high school history teacher.

Then, many years later, I shall retire from that life and pursue my other dream... owning my own bar. Throw some kids in there, and I will have died a fulfilled man!

Of course, Jonathan didn't know any of this, so props to him for including it! Though I'm still wondering who that dude is in the picture on the wall.

Hey, I think I may be back now. Thanks for the help of figuring out the techy thingamabobbers.
