Today's mind trip... and coming attractions.

Post by JPSloan »

I just cruised back in the dropdown menu (conveniently located below the current day's comic), and realized that the first time Arlie jumped Jim was on 6/30/2003!

It's almost been a year ago! Good god. I'm definitely making it up to you's guy's... I'll be updating this sucker real regular-like for a while!

Good news especially, I just came up with two new storylines to come after this one! Also, I'm starting to plan another crossover event with Roland Lowery of Role of the Die.

I'll also have two guest strips appearing soon on two sites... RotD and Jamie and Nick. Don't know when, but soon.

Oh, and I'm participating in the Historic Romance Comic Crossover Event. I'll be collaborating with another artist to recreate one of history's great romances. Snerk... wait 'til you see who we chose!

Were you going for humour today, because I found it quite funny.

Yep. I was going for the whole oblivious-to-insensitivity/snappy-punchline effect.

I've been aware of the heaviness of the plot, and I'm slipping as much mirth and irony as I can.

More coming attractions:

I'll be having two cameos upcoming on the site... one of _xmung_, the winner of the Name That Stoner contest. Oh, he also writes a couple interesting comics!

And just prior to that, but just after an interesting crossover with Role of the Die, I'll be featuring a good personal friend of mind who asked me nicely last night as she fed me quiche if she could be in my comic.

Y'know, I try to make everyone happy!

A crossover?! Pfft, man . . . don't you know that crossovers never work?

The strips are done. Holy crap, I've uploaded two weeks worth of strips. I don't think I've ever been this far ahead!

I haven't even gotten the scripts for mine written. *shifty eyes*

But then, I've been kind of busy. :-? Hopefully I'll have 'em set up by tomorrow and get started on drawing them on Sunday.

Anyway, kudos on the strips, man! I used to be ahead like that . . . *sniffle*

The reason I ran these early was so you could have some kind of reference to draw from, since my characters are in out-of-ordinary costuming, etc.
