I will "stippelate" that I enjoyed it immensely.whitepony wrote:Thought most of you here might enjoy this piece of artwork.
An anthroponific naughticorn? And rather closer in size, making such a venture possible.
The "hanging out" pose is very well done, as is the car and composition.
I can't quite place the car. It appears to be an early sixties Ferrari, but the model is not quite one that I can put a digit on.
A 330 GTS, perhaps?
But if anyone can pony up that information, you can I'm sure.

Ferrari is correct. I had thought about a Ford Mustang, as it is also known as a Pony car.LevelHead wrote:I will "stippelate" that I enjoyed it immensely.whitepony wrote:Thought most of you here might enjoy this piece of artwork.

The newer 2003 model of the Ford Mustang has really caught my attention. I think I'd look good in a white colored Ford Mustang convertible with a fine leather interior.
The driver is Beth, The White Guardian and the passenger "hanging out" is an older version of Chienne. I'll probably be using some of Chienne's body references when I work on Scott's character Dr. Tangent. Might be fun to see the Doctor's reaction when Chienne introduces him to her groomer at "Tiki Sams."

Sorry, techie questions:

I agree with Scott and LevelHead ("stippelate?"
). That's fantastic!
It's also the sort of picture that makes me weep for my own shortcomings as an artist. Ah well, some of us got it and some of us don't.
Now, if I could only drag some FCE fanart out of you....
Of course, you'd have to read the strip for that

The car bears a plate suggesting that it is named for the person driving.Hortmage wrote:I don't see any license plate....
....or is that the joke?
That makes it, technically, "eponymous", which seems exactly right to me.
Well, almost exactly; it's named for Beth's phenotype. But the license plate "Pony" was the Beth she could do under the circumstances, as the car's logo is, of course, a horse, of course, from the famous Mr. Enzo.

My bad...
For some reason, when I originally opened this thread, the screen wouldn't scroll to the right. Hence, I didn't see the plate.LevelHead wrote:The car bears a plate suggesting that it is named for the person driving.Hortmage wrote:I don't see any license plate....

It's scrolling now, which is where I spider the plate itself.
LevelHead, did you start this pun war to "bug" me? If so, please know that I shan't "fly" off the handle....

Ferrari and the Scuderia Racing Team
I picked the Ferrari for Beth The White Guardian for several reasons:
I think that's one reason why I like Dr. Tangent's first name because he has an unusal first name too.
- I like the looks of the 360 Spider
3/4 view of the 360 Spider - Ferrari's logo of the silver horse
- The familiarity of my first name in their Racing Team's name - The Scuderia Ferrari F1 Racing Team. Scuderia - probably what my mother would have called me if I had been a girl, instead of calling me Scudder.

There go the invertebrate punsters again--spinelessly unable to resist a pun.
I dunno, White Pony...a fine leather interior makes you sound stuffed! Was your mother a fan of Emilie Buchwald's Gildaen? If I recall correctly it has a character named Scudder.

I'm fed up to the teeth with this, guys, you're giving me the creepy-crawlies. Or at least ants in the pants. Is there a molar to this story or is it all just flapping gums?Mako wrote:Beatings will commence promply at 10:00, be there, Aloha!LevelHead wrote:To tell the tooth, it is only insectdental to the topic.
