White Pony, it's obviously a temporary condition as well as a bug in the software. Hardly anyone's fault, and certainly not yours. If it were me doing something, I have the moderator's authority to *really* screw something up. If that happens, oh Boy will I feel stupid, but as far as I know, I'm really the only one capable of screwing something up.

So, please accept my apologies for even joking that it might've been you.

I would agree with Mr. Kellogg; I entertained no notion that you had actually caused any forum problem!

The KeenStop forums are ultimately going to smooth out, I hope, but in recent times have suffered their more than fair share of glitches. These seem to be autonomous, or caused simply by use.

Here's my Mom's recipe:

1 Cup Margarine (2 sticks)
(Alt: use 1 stick butter, 1 stick Margerine
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 & 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

Blend:
2 & 1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder

2 cups (quick) oatmeal
12 ounces Chocolate chips

Beat together 1st 5 ingredients;
add flour, oats and chocolate

Scoop onto baking sheet using
small ice cream type scoop.

Bake at 375 degrees for 9 minutes.

Yum!

Officially we unicorns eat flowers for nurishment, absorb sunshine for power and thrive on hugs, love, doggys (Florence) and chocolate chip cookies.

I'm saving that recipe...Thank You! I'll just substitute lactose free margarine and use Ghirardelli Semi Sweet Double Chocolate Chocolate Chips instead of the milk chocolate chips.

INGREDIENTS:

• 2 1/4 cups unsifted all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
• 1/4 cup granulated sugar
• 3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
• 1 package (4-serving size) Jell-o vanilla Flavor "Instant" Pudding/Pie Filling (use dry, do NOT add milk)
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 1 package (12 oz.) chocolate chips

INSTRUCTIONS:

Mix flour with baking soda.

Combine butter, the sugars, pudding mix (dry), and vanilla in a large mixer bowl. Beat until smooth and creamy.

Beat in eggs.

Gradually add flour mixture; then stir in chips.

Drop by rounded measuring teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
(NOTE: I like those new Baker's Secret Air Insulated baking sheet from EKCO.)

Bake at 375 for 8 to 10 minutes.

Makes about 7 dozen.
(NOTE: Which won't last one day with a unicorn in the house.)
