A new, proper, ongoing story!

Yes kids, that's right.
In the absence of proper inspiration and the fact that digs at gamers and comics and such are wearing a bit thin, I've instead decided to comic-ize one of my old short stories.
As way of feeding my ego and discovering how many people actually care enough to check the forums, I'll let YOU, the readers, choose which story.
They are:
Melvin and Bart
The Intrepid Crew go on shore leave
Generic Ghost Story
Vote for your favourite! I'll pick the winner next Monday, the 17th of June

hmm, I wouldn't mind a cheezy ghost story in the tradition of Scary Movie or Jason X, but i really hope you keep the characters you currently have. Yes, they have no personalities to speak of at this point, but i've grown accustomed to them. And hey, one of thems named after someone I know...sort of.

Personally I like the comic the way it is.
However, if you want to go with something new and zany go for it!
I'll back ya up the whole way man.
I just like the num num num jokes,

Hmmh, reason I'm considering the change is the characters, while amusing, aren't exactly that memorable, they're not doing memorable things, people don't speculate about them like they do the characters in Annie, Meekerz, EN, etc... they're just talking heads. They might as well be the two guys in Dov Sherman's comic who are completely featureless and never move and exist only to talk back and forth.
Doing one of the short stories, though, would let me do some new characters just for a change. It wouldn't be permanent, just for the duration of the story.
On a num-num-note, last night the real life Maritriny (my goth ex) elbowed me quite hard in the stomach when I went 'num-num-num' at her when she was talking about her trip to Lanzarotte with her mystery new b/f. Ow!

I like the comic. I especially like num num num.
I only have one question:
Exactly how long have you been on the net? 33 years?

I'm not entirely sure I understand you, UWC... I've been on the net since I was... 15? That means 7 years.
7 YEARS! FUCK! That's like... too long.
Heh, I remember my first modem, a huge, deafening Hayes external 14.4 with the flashy lights and everything! Back in those days, children, webpages were all grey, most pr0n was free, many people had to run MPEGs in tiny, black and white windows, and bread was 5 cents a loaf.

Yep, me and meta have been on the internet for over 3 decades now. Of course, for the first 25 or so years, we had to do it in one of those military labs surrounded by Rangers and MiBs who kept yelling at us to get off.
Now have you seen my dentures anywhere sonny? I've gotta hot date with grandma Wiggins!

I tried for half an hour to either edit my original post or post a reply because I immediately realized what you meant.
KEENSPACE, sucking ass, refused to let me. I'm not stupid or anything, really.

That's ok, it's fixed now, so I look silly.
Hey! You're from Wales! Did you see Human Traffic?

I'm not actually WELSH, but... well, actually, Human Traffic was filmed in loads of places I frequent, and bits of it filmed like a block from where I live! I haven't seen it though, I have to, as my gf knows people who were standing the background and stuff. Good old Cardiff.
I have seen Twin Town, though, and it's put me off ever going to Swansea. A 'pretty shitty city', and no doubt about it.
MEANWHILE:
We've hit an impasse. The votes are tied. Hmmmm.

It's a very funny movie. I managed to pester my local video store into selling me an ex-rental nearly two months before they came off new release.
How about you do a shore leave story-line with lot's of num num num jokes, and fourth wall breaches, etc?
Eeevrybody Wins!
