ACK! NEW COMIC!

Antilla, eh? Neat... Gonna remember that.

Looks like Quentyn's luck seems to be holding true... Just bad enough to make him moan, but good enough so he doesn't get smacked around too bad. ;)

Ah, the anticipation, it's like a dull ache in my chest... Or is that heartburn? ;p No, wait, it's anticipation... Ack.

Well, it looks like he might have some negotiating to do keep his ship and supplies from getting munched on... because if I remember correctly pixies eat wood like they were termites... OTOH they CAN be negotiated with I THINK... (wait... so why was Merchant Max going after them with a fly swatter... I guess he was swatting to discourage rather than mame or kill, like the different between chasing someone off your property with the twiggy end of a broom versus a baseball bat).
OTOH they ARE locals, AREN'T human, and can fly, so he might be able to get some basic information on the local situation out of them.

I see the comment on the forum before I see the comic.

I love the rain in this picture...

If that tarp holding those balloons gives way, is there anything restraining them? A strange sort of solution, that.

Well it could be worse, he could have landed in the New Mexico desert, might mistake that craft for a UFO or something.
Yes, sir. I agree completely. It takes a well-balanced individual... such as yourself to rule the world. No, sir. No one knows that you were the third one... Solidus. ...What should I do about the woman? Yes sir. I'll keep her under surveillance. Yes. Thank you. Good-bye...... Mr. President.

Only if it's 1947 and an overly-bored AAF public relations officer gets ahold of something "unworldly." *Rolls eyes*

It is a good idea landing in a tree. But wouldn't a pure white tarp be kind of...attention getting in the morning? On a differant note....this a beautiful drawing. I like the tree. Very anchient awesome tree. And the rain is cool as always. Nice done, RH.

ywah, I'm a little worried over the dryads eating his ship. sitll, I doubt they'll do too much damage unless he takes too long away from the ship.

but I doubt he'd be saying that he lucked out if they were more destructive then they were usefull.
I still say the doctor did it....

For the humans he is in a UFO. He is in an unknow object that is flying overhead. What else could he be? :o :o

I wonder if the humans interact with the dryads... Would they hunt them down like they used to do to the Rac'Conan?

Dryad should not be too much trouble even if they eat wood (I doubt in that) they have a whole huge tree to eat before, anyway I doubt that they talk a lot with humans when I look how they react in Max's shop.

Elles me sembles avoir un déficit d'attention.

The boat is made of wicker, not wood... and coated with a thick layer of white waterproofing. The envelope and ropes are spidersilk. Not the sort of thing they'd munch on.
In case you were wondering the envelope is deflated, and rolled up underneath that tarp.

Oh, my.

You must not have heard Jerry Clower's "'Coon huntin' story".

Find the tape. It's hilarious beyond belief. Falling on the floor, help me I can't breathe level of funny.
