Drat, sorry to hear that, Fusion. But I guess it is better now, before we end up with another MIA character...

Sorry for not being around recently, everyone. School and visiting relatives have eaten away my time. Rest assured, I've been keeping tabs on the RP and you're all doing great. I can update our situation about next Monday when we're done driving all over the state.

How sophisticated have the Rac Cona Daimh made their golems? Have any reached sentience yet, or are they still at the 'mindless automaton' stage?

Further, would I be allowed to introduce a sentient construct character in the RPG?

No sentient golems as of yet. They'd basically be luxed (is that a word?) to have basic movements and decision-making capabilities, but that'd be it.

I'd doubt they have sentience just yet ... they only just got the decision tree going so they are more at the beginning of the punch-card computer days than the AI days :P

*Sighs* Where is everyone?? Hmm well I dont want to double post sooooo.....

I don't really have anything else to say, myself... I was hoping perhaps GreyTiger could write a "He explained everything" post, and then we could split up into groups afterwards... speaking of which, I'm still uncertain what the groups ARE. Is the prison-visitation group Ayshe, Kahlin, and Piper? Or am I missing some folks?

well if unsure ... why dont you ask IC

Or we could just do a quick poll here of what each character is doing/wants to do.

Eg; Kahlin was meant to help search Barret's place, but now he wants to go to the jail?

I know what you mean GT. The students just came back at the district where I work. If I die and go to hell, it will be an endless loop of the events of this week :P :)

...trying!

Ok guys, since it seems GrayTiger has left us... I think we're going to need a way to move on from here.

Suggestions:
We can jointly write a "farewell to Ayshe" post where he has, say, business come up and needs to leave town... and then we can organize ourselves for our mission. I suspect we could continue using the Whim as a "NPC meeting place", or I can volunteer Piper's house/office, which is very small and cozy, but free. Suggestions, snide comments, opinions, folks?

A good idea, that way we wont have to RP his responses or have to deal with the situation of him suddenly becomming an inert piece of decoration  (although part of the idea of a sudden piece of "urgent business" seems very deus ex to me :( hopefully we can come up with something better)

Additional suggestion

We could also write it so that he has to remain behind in sanctury when we leave. Its plausible that seeing as he is the self-appointed guardian of the tumbledowns, he will be reluctant to just quit his commitments there in order to go tramping through the swamps with us. the trouble with this scenario is that it doesnt account for him until after we leave sanctuary, and only red knows how far away that is :P

---

For now, i'm happy to start the organisational meeting on the pretext that Ayshe is taking ages to get there and Kahlin is in a hurry? or does someone want to post something first?

Well - you did bring up the Guardian - what if someone found him out, and put him under house arrest, say? He doesn't even have to be arrested, even - perhaps he's just deluged with negative newscript publicity, and decides not to leave the Whim except strictly on business, since he'd have a bunch of newsies watching his every move? That way, should GrayTiger ever desire to make a return (tho that doesn't sound likely) then his character is still marginally in the form he left it... I'm not sure I'm entirely sold on that idea myself, but I'll throw it out to see what yall think.

BlasTech, feel free to go ahead and start the meeting, I'll chime in... whenever you're done writing.
