I've just done an overhaul of the links page and the gallery page. Justin and Sforzie, I've added your comics to my links section! I also put up a couple more pics of mine in the gallery.
So why am I doing this instead of working on the comic for this week? Heh, because I can get away with this while I'm at work. (~-^)
[This message has been edited by Sarah Huntrods (edited 12-13-2001).]

Finally done the semester! Woohoo!
Sigh, I'm so burnt out...and I still haven't started the comic for Sunday. I keep hoping the comic book elves will come in the middle of the night and finish it for me...hmmm...maybe I should do another filler strip...

Aww, poor burnt out Sarah. ^^; You could draw...um...something cute and with absolute disregard for sanity. That's what I did. ^^
::listens to the FFX soundtrack:: No more semester, yay!
--Sforzie

I knew there was a reason or 2 I hadn't gone back to school. I'm looking them it now: stress, deadlines, unavoidable involvement with other less capable persons, mountains of paperwork.
Oh, wait. That sounds like my job. But I'm not bitter. No, really.
I like the cute idea, too. And there is no particular reason it has to be sane...nothing else is at this time of year.

oh, so cool! thanks Sarah!
::goes to work on his goddamn stupid Modern Lit studies, which were not helped at all by the review because the professor still hasn't gotten around to making a final exam, even though he has an army of TAs to do his grading monkeywork for him!!! Hehe, monkeys. Okay, I'm a little better now...::
------------------

Ok, I think I have a plan. I've had two scrap the next two pages of storyline because it dragged on an really didn't work and I've come up with the new plan of action...but I probably won't get it done by Sunday (or rather Saturday before midnight). So I'm going to post the inked, uncoloured version first and then I'm going to replace it with the finished comic as soon as I get the colouring done. That should be by at least Monday...sigh, I could really push myself to get it all done in time, but I think I'd crack up. I think if I do it this way I'll do a better job of it.

Sigh, I used to be ahead. I'm going to have to use christmas break to catch up.
I decided to do another filler strip for this week because I'm still really burnt out. I have all next week to catch up, so there's no excuse if I don't finish the next full page by then.
Since I've cut out some material, I'm going to use one of the gags I cut in the filler strip this week.

Of course, if you don't have a plot at all it makes it even easier to be cruel... ^^; My comic didn't have a plot until I added in a particular character... then I finally found one. ::giggle::
I plan on drawing pages during my winter break (yay!). Not like I'm already ahead.. but then I'm too lazy to color and make it look nice. :P And if Ceph's wondering, Hunter will probably appear in the comic in... March. On at least a page or two in the current part that I'm drawing. Yeah...
[This message has been edited by Sforzie (edited 12-15-2001).]

So? My storyline pages never go anywhere! That's their charm - consistent gridlock.
It's like how Norm was perpetually drinking on Cheers for 12 years but never actually got drunk.
-Justin

Heh, it's okay. The new plan is much better. Sometimes you have to be really cruel to your own ideas and slash and burn. I happen to be my own worst editor.

Since we are requesting the style we are done:
Justin, you will draw me using ninety-degree angles from now own. I have procured an Etch-a-mo-Sketch from the "Toys are We" store (This is not the actual name of the store, but the name on their placards and stationery is grammatically incorrect.)
KILLROY

Killroy: Sorry, scanning the Etch-a-sketch would leave a glare.
Tina: I'm even worse with pastels and chalk than I am with pen and ink. Plus I'm a lefty so I just smear it all. No go, chica.
Brandon: Consider it done, guy.

I like the way we're drawn just fine, but I think the comic needs more psychedelic light effects! Like in Barbarella! The comic definitely needs more woogyness, ooh and a funky soundtrack to match! How about Clockwork Strawberry!
